                Clevite's H-Series was developed primarily for use in NASCAR type racing, but  they are suitable for all types of competition engines. These sets are  specifically for 1969-Up 302-305-327-350 S/B Chevy "Large Journal" engine (with 2.100" rod  journals).
    • Use H-series bearings with crankshafts that have oversize fillets and where engines run in the medium to high RPM range.
    • H-Series bearings should be used if contact patterns obtained with P-series parts are too narrow. Contact pattern should ideally cover 2/3 to 3/4 of the bearing surface.
    • If you aren't sure which type of performance bearing to start with, the H-Series will be your best choice.

    Based on the popular and powerful Edelbrock #2101, this dual-plane intake is designed for the street rod, industrial and engine swap market utilizing 262-400 c.i.d. Chevy V8s with 1996 and later Vortec (L31) cast iron or the new Edelbrock E-Tec aluminum heads. Manifold has provisions for external water bypass and may be used on either Vortec blocks or 1995 and earlier blocks.

    No provision for exhaust heated chokes. Accepts both square-bore and spread-bore carbs and late model waterneck, alternator, HEI and air conditioning brackets. Will not fit under stock Corvette hood.

    Designed for 1986 and earlier 262-400 cubic-inch Chevys, the Performer EPS dual-plane manifold is optimized to deliver superior performance over other low-rise dual plane manifolds. This small-block Chevy manifold has a runner design that's "tuned" for peak torque around 3500 rpm on a 350-inch engine and it produces power from off-idle to 5500 rpm.

    Dyno tests showed gains of 5 hp and 9 ft/lbs of torque over the standard Performer manifold on a 350 Chevy. From 3000 to 4500 rpm, the increases averaged 5+ ft/lbs. of torque for more performance where you need it most.

    These rotating assembly engine rebuild kits are designed for street use and include Keith Black Hypereutectic pistons, Speedway 5140 I-beam rods and a Speedway Cast Steel crankshaft. Rings and bearings not included. Journals are standard size.

    Due to larger journal side radius on this aftermarket crankshaft, you must use Clevite H-series, King bearings or equivalent.

    These assemblies will require balancing either by us or your machine shop.

    All balancing is done with our state-of-the-art Hines balancer by race mechanics with over 30 years of experience!  A kit purchased with the optional balance job will ship in 24-48 hours.

    Designed for 1986 and earlier 262-400 cubic-inch Chevys, the Performer EPS dual-plane manifold is optimized to deliver superior performance over other low-rise dual plane manifolds. This small-block Chevy manifold has a runner design that's "tuned" for peak torque around 3500 rpm on a 350-inch engine and it produces power from off-idle to 5500 rpm.

    Dyno tests showed gains of 5 hp and 9 ft/lbs of torque over the standard Performer manifold on a 350 Chevy. From 3000 to 4500 rpm, the increases averaged 5+ ft/lbs. of torque for more performance where you need it most. Match with a dependable Edelbrock square-bore carburetor for maximum street performance gains.
