    Don't settle for a weak 4-bar end made out of a piece of tubing welded to a bolt. These Speedway rod ends are made from fully polished investment cast stainless steel for superior strength and durability. All rod ends feature a 5/8"-18 RH threaded shank and the nylon bushing has a steel sleeve that accepts a 1/2" bolt.

    Rod ends come in three different configurations:

    • Straight Shank
      • Mounting eye is perpendicular to threaded shank
      • 5/8"-18 RH threads
      • Center of mounting eye to end of threads is 2-7/8"
    • 7° Shank
      • Mounting eye is offset 7° from perpendicular to threaded shank (with the bushing side down, the stud will be angled up at a 7° angle)
      • 5/8"-18 RH threads
      • Center of mounting eye to end of threads on short side is 2-13/16"
      • Center of mounting eye to end of threads on long side is 2-15/16"
    • 11° Shank
      • Mounting eye is offset 11° from perpendicular to threaded shank (with the bushing side down, the stud will be angled up at a 11° angle)
      • 5/8"-18 RH threads

    Choose from straight, 7° or 11° angled shanks.

    These nylon bushings for 4 bar ends can be used for your custom build or as replacements for our kits. Fits rod ends with a 1.137" I.D. and rod end width of 1.050". Kit includes a set of 8 plastic bushings.

    This Mr. Roadstar Rear Panhard Bar is used to control the side-to-side movement of the rear axle. This is necessary when using a parallel 4-bar or hairpin radius rod rear suspension. The bar is threaded on one end for length adjustment and is welded on opposite end. This will require one end to be unbolted to allow for the length adjustment. Available in plain finish or polished Stainless Steel.

    Kit includes:

    • Axle Bracket (for 8" or 9" Ford)

    With cross steering a Panhard bar is a must-have. It stops side-to-side sway of chassis relative to the axle. This bar is for spring-over-axle, 4-bar front ends on 1928-1934 Fords.  Tube O.D. is 5/8".

    • 11/16" outside diameter
    • 1/2" inside diameter
    • 1/2" bolt
    • 1/2" heim

    Chassis bracket welds-on, then bar bolts in place to the side of the 4-bar batwing. Panhard bar bracket mounts to a batwing that features a 4-1/2" on center four-bar spacing.

    These nylon bushings for 4-bar ends are perfect for your custom build. Bushing fits rod ends with a 1.125" I.D. and rod end width of 1.485". The steel sleeve I.D. is 0.625", O.D. is 0.815" and the length of the sleeve is 1.76". Kit includes a set of 8 bushings with 8 sleeves.

    Note: These bushings are not a replacement for Speedway 4-bar rod ends as they are wider. If you are trying to use this bushing kit with a Speedway 4-bar rod end, please note that it will not be a direct fit. You will need to trim 0.435" off the overall width to match the 1.050" width of the bushing that came with the Speedway rod end.

    Kit includes a Chromoly 1.375" bent tube with .120” wall, threaded shock/heim spud, and splined torsion bar end. Welding and fitting required. Adaptable to make either right or left side arms.

    The 5/8" rod end for bird cage screws into the front of the small tube and the shock attaches to back of the small tube.

    The straight part of the tube is 12.5" long, from the inside of the tube to the end is 17" (about 18.5" from the outside to the end) overall length.

    These 1-3/4" drop forged steel steering arms are popular on Model T - 1934 Fords with 4" dropped axles and four-bar or hairpin radius rod suspensions. Will attach to '37-'48 Ford spindles and accept 11/16" Ford "tapered" tie rod ends (both the top and bottom are tapered to allow tie rods to mount above or below arm as needed). You can drill-through with a 5/8" bit to use spherical rod ends.

    Use a 46" eye-to-eye tie rod link when used with a 48" wide axle with Ford spindles.

                J-shaped solid steel panhard bar is adjustable to a maximum of 26-1/2". Bent end of bar has a 3/4" heim installed. Straight end of bar can be shortened as needed. Threaded slug must be welded in. Kit also includes a 3/4" heim and jam nut for the adjustable end. The eye to eye drop on this is 3.5".

                Torsion bars provide the vital suspension link  between the surface of a race track and a car's chassis. Torsion bars  have as much to do with the car's response as do its tires, so their  quality and consistency are essential to a good performing car. The  quality of material, workmanship, heat treatment, and finish all have an  effect on the performance of the torsion bar.

    Schroeder uses only aircraft quality, high alloy steel to achieve the finest bar possible, and machines their torsion bars with state of the art CNC equipment. Only Schroeder torsion bars are machined in one continuous pass from end to end in order to prevent irregularities. Then they are polished and heat treated to exact specifications, then polished again to assure no surface imperfections exist which could cause a stress point or crack to originate. The bars are then coated with a protective film and shipped in plastic screw-lock tubes for protection and easy identification.

                To make it easier for you the builder, we have four front axle assemblies that are designed for frame #91657050. Choose from plain or chrome and tube or I-beam axles. 

    These front end assemblies include a new tube or I-beam axle, new leaf spring and u-bolts, spring shackles, spring perches, lower shock mounts, 4-bars and ends and panhard bar assembly.
