    These "rams horn" cast iron manifolds were patterned off the 1962-63 327 Corvette but are not OEM remanufactured manifolds. They feature the big 2-1/2" diameter outlets and have provisions to accept original alternator type brackets.

    These headers are copies of the original headers on the 62-63 Corvettes and can be used on almost any small block application. The cast in brackets are for the water tank on the drivers side and generator bracket on the passenger side. These can be cut off and smoothed per customers preference. These are a square port configuration with 1-5/16” top to bottom and also side to side. Compare to your head port size for compatibility.

    For factory style oval port heads. Will work with GT40P heads. Includes 2.5" collector reducers to 2.25" pipe, gaskets and bolts.

    • Must be used with 910-67210 (Fuel Injected Engines) style mini starter or equivalent compact starter
    • We recommend motor mounts 270-2221 (Left) and 270-2220 (Right)

    These shorty headers feature our unique AHC ceramic coating. Armor Hot Coating (AHC) is a heat resistant, ceramic coating applied to the outside of the header. This coating will reflect heat, which helps retain more heat within the header tube while simultaneously speeding up the exhaust flow. Not only will this coating help you make more horsepower, it also keeps your headers rust-free, looking great, and lasting longer (when properly maintained).     Note: The exhaust port size is square and large enough for most round port heads. It measures 1.375" x 1.375" and should be sufficient for most small block cylinder heads. Variation in location of spark plugs on aftermarket heads makes it impossible to verify that the Tru-Ram® will fit all heads on the market, but it will clear most straight and angle plug heads.

    NOTE: Stainless header tubing when exposed to exhaust temperature will cause the finish to change color which will vary with the exhaust temperature. Please note that the finish of the header when the engine is started, will change to a light champagne color to a darker gold finish and in some instance may even turn dark blue or purple. This can be polished back out when utilizing Blue-away or Simi-chrome polish, but please note that when the headers reach running temperature again, they will immediately change color.

The tight-fit headers design fits in a wide variety of applications, and the block hugger headers have built-in OEM-style donut seals on the collectors so no gaskets or collector reducers are needed.

                These small block Chevy IMCA headers fit most IMCA modified chassis. They can be run  upside down to gain clearance and are a good choice for tracks requiring  mufflers. These AHC coated headers are for standard port S/B Chevy heads. Gaskets and bolts included.
