A Tru Gear gear drive is as easy to install as a timing chain and will fit under your stock timing chain cover. Noisy gears give your engine a "supercharged" sound. 

    For use on Chevrolet Small Block engines 1957–1995 262-400 c.i. all without “FACTORY” hydraulic roller camshaft.

    These camshaft / lifter kits are perfect for use with SBC 350 to 360 CID with Air Flow Research 180/190 runner heads. Max Power 6000-6200 rpm, Peak Torque 3800. This cam takes advantage of the AFR's Intake to Exhaust flow ratio. This cam maximizes the power of these heads creating a forever-long band of power. To extend power another 200 rpm use 1.6 ratio on both intake and exhaust. 15/8" headers are needed too for this application. We recommend a 2400 stall, a 750CFM carb, and a minimum of 9:1 compression.

                Clay Smith Cams Street series lifters are for the  true American Hot Rodder wanting to update their vintage muscle.  These  lifters have been designed to be used with all of CSC's American Muscle cam  profiles and most of the Legendary Series.  These lifters feature fully  machined bodies to insure proper fit.  They feature a .700” wheel for  OEM cam profiles and smaller aftermarket profiles.  All lifters are tie  bar style and will work in both OEM and aftermarket blocks without  machining.   Pushrod seat height has been kept at OEM height so that  pushrods can be reused.

    High Energy Hydraulic lifters have a patented constant orifice metering valve that precisely meters oil to the rocker arms. Continuous contact between the metering valve and pushrod seat is maintained, eliminating excessive oiling at high engine speeds. The pushrod seat is made of a special powdered metal iron alloy that is heat-treated for strength and wear resistance.

    In addition, High Energy Lifters have a lightweight check valve disc that allows for quicker response, which results in increased engine speed before valve float. This check valve disc also maintains added control at all engine speeds and loads.

    COMP Cams High Energy Hydraulic Lifters also contain a longer piston than conventional hydraulic lifters, which provides more load bearing surface and increases lifter longevity.

    These camshaft / lifter kits are perfect for use with SBC 377 to 390 CID with Air Flow Research 190 to 210 heads. Max Power 6200 rpm, Peak torque 3600. This cam is designed for engines using 3.750" stroke with the AFR Heads and their high Intake the Exhaust flow ratio. This cam maximizes the power potential of these heads by taking advantage of the RAM Effect caused by piston velocity at low rpm. Increase header size of 1.750" is highly suggested to take full advantage of the power band of this camshaft.  Adding 1.6 ratio rocker will increase rpm to 6400. We recommend a 3000 stall, an 850CFM carb, and a minimum of 10:1 compression.

This cam was designed for 1.6 ratio to be used with the Eddy heads. The increased lifter velocity maximizes the fill rate of these heads on large stroke engines from 3.75 to 4.00".     These camshaft / lifter kits are perfect for use with SBC 370 to 390 CID Vortec 185/205 runner with GM Fast Burn heads. Max power 5800-6000 rpm, Peak Torque 3200-3600. This cam is for the stroker build using the GM heads. Hot-rodders with 4-speeds or stall speed of 2800 will absolutely annihilate tires with this Woodpecker stick. Must have minimum of 15/8" headers but 1.750" would be best for engine that will see constant rpm blast. Use of a 1.6 on both intake and exhaust will raise power band 200 rpm more. We recommend a 850CFM carb and minimum of 9:1 compression.
