    AFCO Low Friction Ball Joints are designed with 2 ft. lbs. of resistance, the force required to move the stud of the ball joint.  Compare this with standard replacement joints, with as high as 50 ft. lbs. of resistance.  A difference you can feel!  It is critical to handling that suspension components be as free as possible to move.  Low friction ball joints allow the suspension to give rather than allowing the tire to bounce over rough surfaces.  Low tire pressures magnify the need to minimize friction in the suspension.

    When you're building your car, it's hard to set ride height if you don't have the engine and body installed. This handy tool allows you to simulate the installed length of your coil-overs, which will give you a finished ride height.  The coil-over shock setup tool is for fabrication purposes only, not built to replace shocks.  It fits 1/2" or 5/8" coil-over mounts. Available as 9" thru 17" minimum installed length. Adjustment of at least 1" longer is possible.

    Speedway Motors and Dylan Smith Racing have partnered up to now offer the exclusive DSR shock packages used by both Dylan Smith and Jesse Sobbing to carry them to hundreds of wins and their respective IMCA and NASCAR National Championships.

    DSR has revealed exclusively to Speedway Motors, the hand selected combination of valvings they use to promote optimal handling and feel in any track condition for 'B' Modifieds.

    Each package includes (9) Bilstein SZ Series shocks. This select mix of (5) 7" front and (4) 9" rear shocks will take the guess work out of selecting the right shocks for ever-changing track conditions. Each shock is individually labeled for each corner of the car with a 'Mud', 'Mid' or 'Slick' notation, making it easy to hit the right setup every time.

    These are NOT a direct fit in the stock pickup A-frames. Used on IMCA cars to raise roll center (raised pivot point).

    1. These ball joint use a 1973-95 GM Truck taper, but they have a longer (taller) stud than the stock GM part. The taller stud changes the pivot point due to its length, which in turn raises the car's roll center. Very common ball joint on IMCA Modifieds.
    2. Lower ball joint fits most stut cars, 1971-1976 Impala and most wide-type dirt cars. Press-In.
    3. Fits most popular racing and passenger car spindles.

    AFCO Low Friction Ball Joints are designed with 2 ft. lbs. of resistance, the force required to move the stud of the ball joint.  Compare this with standard replacement joints, with as high as 50 ft. lbs. of resistance.  A difference you can feel!

    It is critical to handling that suspension components be as free as possible to move.  Low friction ball joints allow the suspension to give rather than allowing the tire to bounce over rough surfaces.  Low tire pressures magnify the need to minimize friction in the suspension.
