    High cornering forces can force the gear lube out of the center section and down the axle tube leaving the ring and pinion high and dry! This billet aluminum seal has three O-rings that seal it to the axle tube and two bonded, heavy duty, neoprene inner seals designed to compensate for any amount of axle shaft runout. Keeps gear oil in the center section. These seals will take up to an 1.5” diameter axle.

    Winter's Championship rear end is available with either plain or fully polished housing, six-rib side bells and standard rear cover. Features a standard driveshaft yoke, heat treated lower shaft, 31-spline Winters Track posi differential, and a 4.12:1 ring and pinion.

    Housing ends are standard 3.15" big Ford and include 2.5" offset axles. Axles drilled for both 5 on 4-1/2" and 5 on 4-3/4" bolt patterns. Measures 56" from axle flange to axle flange and requires our part #91711 10-spline quick change gears.

    The biggest improvement you can give it is a lubricant that will allow the gears to survive the highway speeds that cars see today. L.E. gear oil is what we use in our 350 mph streamliner, that uses a V-8 quick change, without failure. The "red stuff" provides superior lubrication for long gear life. You can't win if you don't finish. We suggest 90 weight for the street and 140 weight for extreme uses.

    • Formulated using blends of high quality paraffinic and synthetic base fluids
    • Contains a highly shear stable tackiness
    • Unique blend of base fluids and thermally stable EP additives
    • Separates readily from water
    • Contains non-silicone defoaming additives
    • Contains no solids

They are available in either plain finish or a polished center section that includes stainless steel fasteners. These rear ends are 56" from hub to hub and have both 5 on 4 1/2" and 5 on 4 3/4" bolt patterns. They accept the new style big Ford brakes with a 2 1/2" offset and the standard Spicer 1310 Chevy 3-1/4" u-joint. The 3.78 ring and pinion is mounted on a wedgelock differential and accepts common 6 spline quick change gears.
