    These Speedway spindles are one piece, drop forged design constructed of high strength 4140 steel, which makes them superior to original components. These spindles are modeled after the '37-'41 round-back design and use '37-'41 Ford king pins.

    These spindles fit Ford axles from '28-'48. They can be used with period correct drum brakes or modern Speedway Motors disc brakes, but will not work with hubs from '28-'36.

    A real time saver when installing body and interior kits. Eliminates need to drill into body. Vise head grips up to 9/16". The Cleco pliers are quality-made, unique tools that readily install and remove Cleco fasteners.

    Cleco pins are a definite must for sheet metal fabrication. They're basically spring-loaded, removable pop rivets that allow you to hold two pieces of sheet metal together in proper alignment for drilling or riveting. They work great for Circle Track use for test-fitting panels before they're permanently attached to your vehicle.

    The pins work with thicknesses of up to 1/4 in.

    These dimensions are approximate. Certain brake kits may require removal of some of the nut material to allow for installation of the cotter pin.

    Our 3" dropped axle for your classic '47-'54 Chevy half-ton pick-up will get the front end down where you want it. The center portion of the axle is made of 2" DOM tubing while the ends are CNC milled for solid steel. These axles give you 3" of drop.

    The Chevy axles require the steering arm to be modified to accept rod ends or tie rods. U-bolts sold separately.

    • King pin to king pin centers = 50.5"
    • 6" drop measured from spring pad to spindle boss center
    • Axle accepts a 1-3/4" wide spring
    • Spring pad center-to-center = 26.75"
    • Center to center of u-bolt holes is 2.30" side to side
    • Center to center of u-bolt holes front to rear is 3.195"
    • Spring pad width is 29.072" center to center of the outer U-bolt holes
    • Axle Kingpin Boss Height:  2-7/16" (2.438")

    The stock "bushing" type king pins and bushings were fine on your old '42-'48 Ford car when it had drum brakes and only ran 50 mph. But now you've put an 11" disc brake kit and 400hp to the old girl. The upper king pin bushings take a tremendous amount of abuse and wear from added strain. "Royal" king pin kits feature dual needle bearings at both top and bottom and stainless steel king pins.

    All balancing is done with our state-of-the-art Hines balancer by race mechanics with over 30 years of experience! A kit purchased with the optional balance job will ship in 24-48 hours.
