    Said to be its most popular flathead intake, Offenhauser’s 2x2 Regular intake has closely spaced carbs. The Offy regular dual intake accepts two 3-bolt carbs. Great addition to a street oriented engine. Has 4-3/4" carb centers.

    The generator may not fit into the stock location due to the clearance issue with the carburetor.  The generator can be relocated to the passenger side using bracket # 325-1146. If using a GM alternator, use our chrome 916-67909 or plain 916-67910 bracket.

    • Carb Centers:  4-3/4"
    • Carb pads are angled as they were on stock 49-53 intakes
    • Front drivers side accessory hole is for draft tube and measures 1.25"
    • Rear drivers side accessory hole is for oil fill tube and measures 1.375"

    Offenhauser Dual Carb intake manifolds provide a nostalgic appearance while equalizing fuel distribution to all cylinders, improving both performance and economy. With this lightweight cast aluminum manifold, your old "Stovebolt" will be more responsive across the RPM range. Use with two "big base" carburetors (2-15/16" bolt centers) typical of 1954-62 Chevys.

    • Fits 216-235-261 Chevy 6-cylinders
    • 1950-1959 engines w/ PowerGlide
    • 1953-1959 engines w/ Manual Transmission

     

    Included linkage kit is "non-progressive," meaning both carbs operate at the same time.

    Offenhauser Dual Carburetor Chevy 194, 230, 250 and 292 intake allow you to run a Big 6 without the hassles and cost of the GMC. Manifold provides a nostalgic appearance while equalizing fuel distribution to all cylinders, improving both performance and economy. With this lightweight cast aluminum manifold, your inline six will be more responsive across the RPM range.

    Accepts two OEM (Rochester B or BC) 1-barrel carbs like the original on your 1963-1975 straight 6. Manifold comes with a non-progressive linkage kit.

    This kit uses the Offy Dual '49-'53 Flathead Ford intake with Speedway's 9 Super 7® carbs. It includes two carbs, the intake, air cleaners, linkage kit, fuel block, fittings and red fuel line. Assembly required.

    The 9Super7® makes setting up a multiple carburetor induction system easier than when Strombergs were available new. All that's required to do so with our kits is a Uni-Syn syncing tool and a little patience. Be sure to include the Secondary 9 Super 7 when installing 3-carb setups. Our 3 Carb kits come with one primary carburetor and two secondary carburetors while the 2 Carb kits are both primary carbs.  See our Multiple Carburetor Tech Tip for more information on using the 9 Super 7 in a 2x2 or 3x2 carb

The  front of the intake manifold has the  boss or flange for the generator  or fan assembly to mount to. It also  has the fill and draft holes  behind this flange.  All include generator  adapter brackets.

    This Offy single 4-barrel intake fits the 1949-53 Ford V-8 and features a Carter WCFB bolt pattern. For best results, our techs recommend the Holley 390 CFM 4-BBL which requires the Holley Flathead adapter 135-1935B.

    You may also need to purchase 560-6091, 4" tall carb spacer (in addition to 135-1935B) to use a Holley carb on this intake. The spacer gets the carb high enough so that the base will clear the water hoses.

The percentage is, of course, a closely guarded secret on this patented design that varies from engine to engine. The result is low end torque and economy of a 180 degree intake with the performance of a true 360 degree manifold.

     

    These manifolds are garage sale priced because they are new old stock.  They are still packed in the 1973 Newspaper.
