    IMCA's 2004 rules now allow the stock car class to use spec tubular upper control arms. The stock arms are getting hard to find and don't have the strength of the tubular design. Bolts to your stock mount and accepts stock ball joints.  This control arm is going to have a 1/4" thick plate where the ball joint bolts in.  Mid-size GM metric only.

    • Tube diameter is 1"
    • Wall thickness is 0.092

    Steel cross shaft.  Available for right (passenger side) or left (drivers side).

    Right arm length is 8". Left arm length is 8.5". Cross shaft spacing center to center is 6-7/8".

    These new lower control arms fit '70-'94 GM. They are bare and will require you to install bushings and K6141 Moog-style ball joints.

    This control arm is not an OEM replacement and is therefore suggested as an off road/circle track racing control arm only. We recommend applying a tack weld to the bottom of the ball joint.

    Use 1971-76 Impala/Caprice press-in ball joints 917-20038 at right.

    Center of ball joint to the center of the bushings is 14-1/4". Inside to inside of bushings is 9-1/8".

    If your General Motors G-Body race or street car uses “stock” trailing arms, you need to take a look at this part! By using a softer elastomer bushing material in the upper control arms, you can significantly increase suspension travel and bite. This construction will satisfy many rule requirements requiring “rubber only” bushings. 

    Fits GM G-Body Metric chassis (1978-88 Monte Carlo, Regal, etc.)

    These are stock style 1968-74 Nova stamped steel lower control arms that are new reproductions (not junkyard items). A-arm accepts Moog K5103 style press-in ball joints.

    Note: If you are purchasing this to fit onto a '78-'88 GM "metric" chassis for racing purposes and require a passenger side/right front control arm, you should be purchasing # 106-18300R. If you require a driver side/left front control arm, you should be purchasing # 106-18300L.

    If you are purchasing this arm for use in a '68-'72 Nova or '67-'69 Camaro, you will need to purchase the left hand arm for the passenger/right side and the right side arm for the drivers/left side.

    If you are purchasing this arm for use in a '68-'72 Nova or '67-'69 Camaro, you will need to purchase the left hand arm for the passenger/right side and the right side arm for the drivers/left side.

    Note:  OEM rubber brake hoses generally cannot be adapted to Wilwood calipers. The caliper inlet fitting is a 1/8-27 NPT. The preferred method is to use steel adapter fittings at the caliper, either straight, 45 or 90 degree and enough steel braided line to allow for full suspension travel and turning radius, lock to lock.

    If your General Motors G-Body race or street car uses “stock” trailing arms, you need to take a look at this part! By using a softer elastomer bushing material in the upper control arms, you can significantly increase suspension travel and bite. This construction will satisfy many rule requirements requiring “rubber only” bushings.

    You can weld these brackets to your 9" Ford housing and install it in your GM Metric chassis. Includes upper and lower control arm mounts. Welding required. Designed for 3-1/2" axle tubes, but can be fit to 3" tubes.

    This Deluxe rear end bracket set features multiple holes (5) for mounting the lower control arms. Also included is a pair of weld-on brackets for mounting the Metric brake calipers. The lower mounts in this kit have only one shock mount position.

    These steel lower control arm bushings are virtually "bulletproof". They will minimize alignment change during cornering since they do not deflect. Bushings are sold each and include a grease zerk fitting for lubrication.

                We use these 1968-74 Nova lower control arms on our GM midsized metric-based modified chassis. This widens the front track width which vastly improves handling.

    These are stock Nova GM metric lower control arms. Each has been sand blasted clean and has had the ball joint removed. The used rubber bushings should be removed and replaced with our steel bushings.

    Order control arm as needed for metric chassis, i.e. 91034300-R is for the passenger side of the chassis. Right-hand arm shown in photo.

    Center of ball joint to the center of the bushings is 16". Outside to outside of the bushings is 13-1/4". Inside of bushing to the inside of bushing is 8-7/8".
