    These long tube headers work with both automatic or manual transmissions in 1964-1989 Chevrolet chassis. Features 1-5/8" primary tubes, 3" collectors, and fits angled or straight plug S/B Chevy oval exhaust port heads. Built with surface machined thick steel flanges for a great seal and mandrel bent mild steel tubing. These headers are a chassis header and are meant to go inside of the frame rails on the 1965-1989 Chevrolet chassis.

    Headers come with installation hardware, collector reducers, gaskets and instructions.

    These tight-fit headers are designed to be used with standard exhaust port Small Block Chevy heads that have angle spark plugs. Features 1-5/8" primary tubes and 2-1/2" collectors with 2-1/4" outlets. Comes with bolts, gaskets and reducers. The port openings on the header are round and work fine on heads with round or rectangle ports.

    These shorty headers feature our unique AHC ceramic coating. Armor Hot Coating (AHC) is a heat resistant, ceramic coating applied to the outside of the header. This coating will reflect heat, which helps retain more heat within the header tube while simultaneously speeding up the exhaust flow.     These fender well headers provide the ultimate performance for 396-502 big block Chevy V8s in 1955-57 Chevy car applications. They kick up over the frame rail and exit just at the bottom of the cowl, which makes them perfect for Gasser-style rods and drag cars. Plus, these headers feature long primary tubes that help produce more horsepower and torque than shorter, more compact headers.

    These headers are not for the faint of heart since you must cut the inner fender panels to make them fit, and tire clearance can be a problem on some applications. They may require smaller front tires to avoid contact. The stock emergency brake rod must also be altered. Can be used with most oil filter systems or transmission and starter combinations. The headers are designed to be used with engines in the stock location, not lowered as many kits do, so all '55-'57 cars should check motor mount positioning before ordering.

    • Header flange has 1-13/16” x 1-13/16" port size

    These Speedway headers allow you to keep the exhaust system under your '55-'57 Chevy car. The "3/4-length" design provides more ground clearance than full-length headers, yet makes more power than "shorty" style headers. These chassis headers fit 283-400 S/B Chevy V8s and has 1-5/8" primary tubes with 2-1/2" collectors. These ceramic coated headers provide superior performance and durability.

    • Mid-length design offers maximum ground clearance
    • Designed to work with stock or 605 power steering box
    • Fits cars using an original V-8 pitman arm (some aftermarket arms may cause an interference)
    • Will work with side engine mounts with engine in stock location

    NOTE: Stainless header tubing when exposed to exhaust temperature will cause the finish to change color which will vary with the exhaust temperature. Please note that the finish of the header when the engine is started, will change to a light champagne color to a darker gold finish and in some instance may even turn dark blue or purple. This can be polished back out when utilizing Blue-away or Simi-chrome polish, but please note that when the headers reach running temperature again, they will immediately ch

    S/B Chevy adjustable IMCA headers feature a long primary stepped header, 1-5/8" - 1-3/4" S/B Chevy.  3" collector.  One 90° turnout and one 60° turnout.

    Adjustable length to allow for engine and/or footbox location, as well as power band tuning.  Includes gaskets and bolts for headers.

    If you are lucky enough to have a GM small block crate motor with D-port heads (FastBurn, ZZ4, etc.) you will find that regular headers just don't work. These shorty headers were specifically designed for these heads. These tight-fit headers are ceramic coated headers that feature 1-5/8" primary tubes and 2-1/2" collectors with 2" reducers. Includes bolts and gaskets. The block hugger headers are designed to make difficult installations easy.

    • Collector exits parallel with the oil pan rail for maximum ground clearance
