    Header Dimension Chart

    Note: The exhaust port size is square and large enough for most round port heads. It measures 1.375" x 1.375" and should be sufficient for most small block cylinder heads. Variation in location of spark plugs on aftermarket heads makes it impossible to verify that the Tru-Ram® will fit all heads on the market, but it will clear most straight and angle plug heads.

    These Fel-Pro gaskets work with both cast iron and aluminum heads. Pre-flattened steel wire ring gaskets have the strength of steel wire sealing with minimum brinelling of aluminum heads. Pre-flattened copper wire ring gaskets will not brinell aluminum heads. They offer superior heat dissipation. Multi-layer steel gaskets offer current leading-edge technology and provide a long-term, leakproof seal called Perma Torque MLS.

    No other performance intake manifold on the market is available with all the features and benefits found in the Power+Plus High Performance Racing Manifold.  These 360° manifolds feature dual distributor hold downs for Chevy, four corner water outlets, and line of sight port configuration.  They also have extended port dividers, thermostat recess, and an accessory bracket boss and tapped hole.  There is an air gap under the front water crossover for extra cooling and an extra tapped water port. 

    These manifolds have permanent mold castings for accurate port placement, tighter grain castings, and less porosity.  They have nitrous bosses, measure 5.12" from carb base to bottom of manifold, and are available in satin finish or polished (the area under the intake runners is not polished).  Available plain or polished.

    These heads are for your '61-'65 348-409 W-Series Chevy engine. They weigh about half what a cast iron head does and are bolt-on. The 220cc intake and 90cc exhaust runners with 2.19" intake and 1.72" exhaust valves will give you a big increase in performance. They are a great match for the large port intakes and are shipped assembled.

    They can be used on 348 engines if limited to a .550" lift.

                Porting heads is an art and science. It takes a  craftsman's touch to shape the surfaces of the head for the optimal flow  characteristics and the best performance. Porting demands the right  tools, skills, and application of knowledge. Few other engine builders  have the same level of knowledge and skill porting engine heads as David  Vizard. All the aspects of porting stock as well as aftermarket heads  in aluminum and cast-iron constructions are covered. Vizard goes into  great depth and detail on porting aftermarket heads. Starting with the  basic techniques up to more advanced techniques, you are shown how to  port iron and aluminum heads as well as benefits of hand and CNC  porting. You are also shown how to build a high-quality flow bench at  home so you can test your work and obtain professional results. Vizard  shows how to optimize flow paths through the heads, past the valves, and  into the combustion chamber. The book covers blending the bowls, a  basic porting procedure, and also covers pocket porting, porting the  intake runners, and many advanced procedures. These advanced procedures  include unshrouding valves, porting a shortside turn from the floor of  the port down toward the valve seat, and developing the ideal port area  and angle. All of these changes combine to produce optimal flow velocity  through the engine for maximum power.

Designed for 1955-86 262-400 c.i.d. small-block Chevys, the Performer Air-Gap features the air-gap design for the ultimate street performance.  These new Performer Air-Gap manifolds are ideal for street performance from idle-to-5500 rpm.

    The open air-gap separates the runners from the hot lifter-valley cover, resulting in a cooler, denser charge, meaning more power and better throttle response throughout the power band.
