    These steering column features a 1-3/4" polished stainless steel tube, real ball bearings for smooth shaft operation and a polished aluminum quick release hub that will accept the common Grant steering wheel 3-bolt pattern. It just doesn't get any cooler than this!

    Uses the common 3/4" DD shaft and U-joints. Not for use with steering wheel centered horn button.

    The Nostalgia Columns offer a similar vintage look but have modern GM-style turn signal, hazard light and horn functions built into the attractive bell-shaped upper housings.

    Perfect for a wide variety of 1920's through 1950's era rods, as well as Cobras and other kit cars.

    The columns measure 30" long and have 3/4"-36 spline lower shafts. They're available with paintable stainless steel housings.

    If you are building a hot rod just a little bit different than the next guy, you will probably need a special length tie rod or drag link sleeve. We stock many common and uncommon lengths along with custom, made-to-order lengths. Measurements are in assembled eye-to-eye lengths.

    To order:

    1. Use guide below to measure your finished length.
    2. The part number and length you order will be 3" longer than the sleeve you receive. (I.E., if you order a 48" part number, you will receive a 45" long sleeve.) This is the difference in length required to give you the correct finished center-to-center measurement.
    3. All sleeves will have internal RH thread in one end and LH thread in the other.

It offers the traditional look of classic, competition-influenced roadsters combined with modern components and refined engineering.     The Tribute T frame has an extra-high rear kickup and Model A rear crossmember that will accept our medium-arch rear leaf spring.     Carrera Street Rod Series shock feature beautifully chrome plated 1.63" OD steel bodies. These three-way adjustable, gas pressurized and radial tuned shocks provide an excellent ride. Shock accepts 7/16" or 5/8" bolt for top bushing and 5/8" bolt in bottom bushing.

    Coil-over compatible with addition of kit 255-1951.

    These rotating assembly engine rebuild kits are designed for street use and include Keith Black Hypereutectic pistons, Speedway 5140 I-beam rods and a Speedway Cast Steel crankshaft. Rings and bearings not included. Journals are standard size.

    Due to larger journal side radius on this aftermarket crankshaft, you must use Clevite H-series, King bearings or equivalent.

    These assemblies will require balancing either by us or your machine shop.

    All balancing is done with our state-of-the-art Hines balancer by race mechanics with over 30 years of experience!  A kit purchased with the optional balance job will ship in 24-48 hours.
