    You get a new 500 series power steering box, new centerlink, new pitman and idler arm. This is a straight bolt-in conversion, although '58-'60 cars need to order the 910-32582 idler arm adapter. Steering box uses inverted flare fittings, 11/16" fine on the pressure side and 5/8" fine thread on the return side. Has a 3/4" 30-spline input shaft.

    Note:  Some applications require slight modification to the radiator tank to clear the steering box.

Be Aware: Exhaust components which are chrome plated are now much more susceptible to blueing, blistering, peeling & corrosion. Simply remove the original steering box, idler arm and tie rod assembly and bolt this unit back in using the original mounting holes. Includes tie rod ends, special steering arms, and a pair of banjo fittings to adapt to AN6 fluid lines. Can be used with most GM steering pumps.

    1. This item must be used with OEM style spindles. It WILL NOT work with dropped spindles.
    2. Designed for use with S/B Chevy 265-400 c.i. V-8.
    3. Must use chassis headers and a stock type pan sump for clearance.
    4. Steering U-joint 910-32255 is required (17mm).

    Small Block Ford engines can take advantage of the less expensive and more readily available "Chevy" radiators by using a passenger side inlet water pump (such as our 910-15544) and get additional steering box/fuel pump clearance to boot!

    Walker Cobra Series radiators boast a relatively thin, but efficient, high-flow copper core which is ideal for use with mild Small Block engines with stock or low compression ratios. Each radiator is built for a direct fit with heavy gauge steel side brackets and standard mounting holes pre-stamped. Plus, all radiators feature a built-in oil cooler for use with automatic transmissions. They work with original, reproduction, steel or fiberglass grille shells.
