    The Mahle PowerPak pistons are a race proven lightweight forged design that are complete with rings, wrist pins and locks.  They are also completely phosphate coated plus feature an anti-friction Grafal skirt coating.  PowerPak pistons are made from 4032 aluminum alloy to allow for tighter cylinder to wall clearances, and improved temperature stability.

    1.5mm, 1.5mm, 3.0mm file fit performance ring set is included. For 383 c.i. S/B Chevy (4.000" bore x 3.75" stroke). Choose oversize diameter needed.

    1. Mahle's phosphate coating provides the grey appearance to the piston. This dry lubricant coating (not to be confused with a thermal film coating) provides a lubricant film in the pin bores and ring grooves until the oiling system of the engine reaches operating pressure; particularly useful during the initial start-up or break-in of engines to protect against galling and microwelding. The piston crown is still machineable.
    2. Mahle’s GRAFAL skirt coating reduces drag, scuffing, friction and cylinder bore wear; reduces piston noise.

    The Airheart 150x1 Series Disc Brake Caliper w/ Retracting Piston is designed to provide a maximum amount of braking power packed into a minimal amount of space for easy mounting. The 150x1 is typically used with spindle mount front wheels and is designed to be mounted in either the three or nine O'clock position on a disc. Either the caliper or disc must float.

    The 150X1 series features a single piston with a patented piston reactor. The body is made of die-cast aluminum alloy. Friction linings are available in both hard and soft materials.

    Requires type D.O.T. 3 brake fluid.

    The Billet Dynalite caliper is powerful, compact and super lightweight. Advanced computer engineering keeps this caliper extremely rigid, resulting in incredible brake torque at a bare minimum in weight, starting at 2.66 pounds. Internal fluid crossover eliminates external tubes and the four position, two-piece bleed screws allow for convenient mounting and easy bleeding. The Billet Dynalite uses standard quick change Dynalite pads, deep cup stainless steel pistons and high temperature seals, and has a black anodized finish. The time proven Dynalite caliper design is stronger and lighter than ever - ideal for Late Models, Modifieds, Sprints, Road Racers and Dragsters.

    Wilwood's steel rotors have applications in all types of motorsports. Weighing in at 4.7 lbs these steel rotors provide a durable lightweight option in applications where sustained temperatures remain in the low to moderate range, and high heat spikes are only observed on an intermittent basis. With their 6" on 5 1/2" bolt centers these rotors can stop anything from a hard stopping drag race car at the end of a quarter mile, or a high speed stock car coming in from a qualifier at a super speedway.     • Puck is stepped inwards to set into the caliper piston
    • Wear area above the step is about .295”
    • Recessed and countersunk center attachment hole in puck

    Note: The soft pad will work best at cold temperatures but will not last as long as the hard pad. The hard pad will last longer but will not stop as well at cold temperatures, but will eventually out perform the soft pad under constant usage.
