                These steering column kits are perfect for finishing off the steering  system in your '23 T-Bucket Kit car.  They come complete with the  steering column, the mount plate that bolts into our new bodies, and the  proper DD intermediate shafts and U-joints.  The 1-3/4" black painted  column has a quick  release steel hub that accepts the common 3-bolt  Grant steering wheel  pattern and uses common 3/4" DD u-joints. 15 gauge  mild steel. The 3/4" O.D. DD shaft has a 1.00" long "D" design on each  end. Made from 1018 steel, weld-on.

    These column drops are angle cut to fit the 1932 Ford dash. Fits tilt steering columns without column shift (2" O.D. tube). For these swinger style drops, the underdash nuts & bolts are included. Each swinger drop has two screws on either side that when unscrewed will detach the lower half of the mount to slide your column through. They have been buffed so well that there is no noticable gap between the two pieces! Each piece was manufactured in the United States by ididit. A hinge at the upper end permits an infinite choice of mounting angles. Polished billet aluminum construction.

    These tilt steering columns were designed to fit 1953-56 Ford pick-ups. They are plain steel which allows you to paint them the color of your choice and the wiring plugs right into your aftermarket harness.

    Works best with a 4-1/2" to 5-1/2" drop. Accepts common 1969-up GM steering wheels or adaptors and uses 1" DD u-joints.

    These polished stainless steel steering U-joints look great and use a pinch bolt on each end for easy installation.

    This particular steering universal joints Size is 3/4"-36 count spline by 3/4"DD. This is the size that is used on Ford Power rack & pinions such as the Mustangs. This U-joint uses pinch bolt fasteners on either side.

    • The OD is 1.650" (41.90mm) 
    • 3-3/4" in total length

    NOTE:  These u-joints contain a safety feature that requires the DD steering shaft to be notched for pinch bolt clearance. Once notched, the pinch bolt MUST be torqued to 45 ft/lbs to ensure a tight fit.

                This is a great new concept for street rods with tubular or I-beam axles. It's hard to visualize how this works, but it's the hottest new idea out there! 

    Designed to replace the common Vega steering box, this rack and pinion assembly has a long passenger-side tie rod that hooks up to the spindle like a Vega-style drag link. The rack unit is mounted on a sturdy bracket that bolts to your existing Vega box mount. The rack mounts much lower and farther forward than a box to provide more clearance, and those who have installed the system report quicker steering response and easier effort than a steering box.

    The racks have 9/16" 26-spline shafts and the extension shafts are 5/8" 36-spline, just like a Vega box. Plus, our steering shaft extension 910-32244 allows you to reuse your existing steering U-joints and shafts when replacing your Vega box.

    Specify 11/16" or 5/8" tie rod thread. The 5/8" is used with a LH heim joint, 11/16" is used with a LH tie rod end. Outer tie rod and jam nut not included.

    If you are using heim ends, you may wish to order heim 175-0316 and jam nut 910-01056. If using tie rod ends, you may wish to order tie rod end 910-02919 and jam nut 910-01159.

    Lokar's Column Cable Shift Linkage is the ultimate answer to interference issues when you are unable to use factory or Lokar's hard column linkage. The cable allows you to route the cable around transmission, exhaust, cross-members and brake pedals. Our Exclusive Billet Aluminum Mounting Arm can be used on either side of the column. Specially extruded liner for extended life of the cable, and stainless inner wire measuring 6 feet in length. Ready-to-install hardware and brackets included in kit – no cutting or measuring – simply bolts on.

Each kit includes premuim Wilwood brake components, spindles, flat steering arms, tie rod assembly and hardware. Hubs are drilled for both 4-1/2" and 4-3/4" bolt patterns. Must be used with a 15" or larger wheel. For use on cars up to 2800 pounds with rear discs or on cars up to 2400 pounds with rear drums.
