    MSD's Billet 351W Distributor is for Ford enthusiasts who are serious about performance! Just under the brass terminals of the MSD cap and rotor is an easy-to-adjust mechanical advance assembly. The assembly is fine blanked from chro-moly steel, TIG-welded for strength plus receives a QPQ coating. The precision weights glide on nylon bushings for smooth advancement and different springs and stop bushings are supplied so a variety of advance curves can be tuned. The steel shaft that spins the advance and reluctor receives a friction reducing coating plus is guided by a sealed ball bearing and long sintered bushing. This combination provides stable timing signals and spark delivery at any rpm. Triggering chores are handled by MSD’s race proven, maintenance-free magnetic pick-up.

                This manifold is designed for racing or serious street applications using stock  cast-iron or aftermarket Windsor style cylinder heads. Includes bosses that can  be drilled and tapped for nitrous. It features a rear water crossover passage  along with four corner tapped water ports. Ports are 1.90” x 1.08” at the gasket  flange and the manifold contains enough material to open ports to 2.10” x 1.25”.  Use Professional Products intake gasket #54600 or Fel-Pro intake gasket #1250 or  #1262. This manifold includes a 1/8-NPT vacuum port under the carb flange, a  feature lacking in competitive manifolds of this type. Note that due to the port  layout on small block Ford engines, a single plane manifold, such as this one,  will typically be suitable for street use as long as the vehicle is not too  heavy.

    • This pump is not for a serpentine belt system
    • The fan hub has a 1-3/4" bolt pattern
    • The lower hose is on the passenger side and accepts a 1-3/4" hose

    Orginal Rhoads Lifters reduce lift and duration at idle by approximately .010" to .020". Duration is reduced by approximately 10 to 15 degrees. Total lift and duration are restored at approximately 3500 rpm. It's not uncommon to pick up 2-3" of vacuum under 1500 RPM just by using these lifters. You will normally also see an increase in low end torque.

    Oil viscosity, valve spring pressure and engine temperature all combine to affect the total leak-down of the lifter at idle. Therefore total leak-down is only approximate.

    Tech Tip:  When installing a new multi disc clutch, be sure to follow the manufacturer's instructions for correct set-up.  You should also replace the pilot bushing/bearing.

    Tech Tip:  To extend the life of your expensive racing clutch you should not use it to load the car on or in your trailer.  The amount of slippage this causes is worse than a night of racing.

    These Powermaster Powergens allow you to keep the authentic looks of a generator with the efficiency of a 1-wire alternator. They put out 75 amps maximum with 60 amps at idle and are a simple one wire design.

    Fits all 1951-1959 engines (except Flathead) and 1960-1964 V-8's. Choose plain or polished.
