    Our dropped axles for your classic Ford F1 pickup will get the front end down where you want it. The center portion of the axle is made of 2" DOM tubing while the ends are CNC milled from solid steel. These axles give you 2" of drop on the '57-'60 chassis. Tie rod drops required, U-bolts sold separately.

    If using this axle in conjunction with drop springs, you may encounter bump steer or tie rod issues.

    • This provides 3"drop compared to the stock 53-56 axle, it provides
      2"drop compared to the 57-60 axle.
    • Dropped tie-rod ends 910 48640 may be required to provide tie-rod to spring
      clearance.
    • If you are also using dropped springs, they may need to modify the
      drag link / pitman arm to avoid bump steer.
    • Kingpin center to center = 53 3/4"
    • Spring pad center to center = 32 3/4"
    • Axle will provide a camber reading of -1.6 degrees

    Our dropped axles for your classic Ford F1 pickup will get the front end down where you want it.     Complete set of "drop in" dual valve springs for your all-out Ford 2.3 race engine. These springs are designed to be direct drop in springs, with no additional machining of the spring pocket required. Dual springs help to prevent valve bounce much more effectively than the stock single spring style so they can be used in Ford 2300 engines revving up to 9000 RPM.

    Springs are sold in sets of 8 only.

    These 1-3/4" drop forged steel steering arms are popular on Model T - 1934 Fords with 4" dropped axles and four-bar or hairpin radius rod suspensions. Will attach to '37-'48 Ford spindles and accept 11/16" Ford "tapered" tie rod ends (both the top and bottom are tapered to allow tie rods to mount above or below arm as needed). You can drill-through with a 5/8" bit to use spherical rod ends.

    Use a 46" eye-to-eye tie rod link when used with a 48" wide axle with Ford spindles.

    These forged steel steering arms will attach to all 1937-48 Ford spindles but their greater drop, 3-3/4" from spindle mount holes means they work best on 1935-48 Ford cars (with spring-over front axle). Clears most radius rods and wishbones.     If you thought all T-buckets were the same, think again! The all-new Speedway Motors Tribute T breaks the T-bucket mold. It offers the traditional look of classic, competition-influenced roadsters combined with modern components and refined engineering. All this in a comfortable package that's easy to assemble using basic hand tools.

    The Tribute T frame has an extra-high rear kickup and Model A rear crossmember that will accept our medium-arch rear leaf spring. Rear axle options include our bolt-on Winters quick-change kit 7151801, bolt-on 9" Ford rear axle option 7151809, or a Ford-style banjo rear end of your choice (must be a centered-pinion rear axle). The front suspension uses a 4 inch drop I-beam axle, wishbone-style radius rods and traditional steering with a reversed Corvair steering box.     These Dual-Flex front springs by Posies lower your classic Ford 1/2-ton pickup 3" more than a set of new replacement springs. The unique 2-leaf tapered design offers a better ride and provides a 100% increase in safety over mono-leaf springs.

    Includes new U-bolts for easy installation. Shackle and spring bolts sold separately. 

    Note: If used in conjunction with a dropped front axle, you may encounter bump steer and tie rod issues.

    Speedway Radius Rod I-Beam axle kits are designed to fit '28-'31 Model A and '32-'34 Ford frames. I-Beam axles require '37-'48 Ford passenger car spindles. Kits are available in plain steel.

    Each kit includes:

    • 46" kingpin-to-kingpin I-beam axle, 4" dropped
    • 27" hairpin radius rods
    • Forged steel perch bolts
    • Forged steel lower shock mounts (key-slotted design)
    • Spring shackles w/ nylon bushings
    • 29-1/4" eye-to-eye Super Glide spring, 1-3/4" wide
    • All hardware for assembly
