    Original flathead water pumps have always suffered from unreliable bronze bushings and carbon seals. They almost always leaked and even Ford manuals warned mechanics not to tighten fan belts too tight. The excess slack allowed belts to slip and lose contact with the generator and water pump pulleys, causing more cooling and power problems.

    Speedway's completely new water pumps feature severe-duty roller and ball bearings, close tolerances and modular impellers to provide maximum flow and reduce cavitation. They also have modern ceramic seals on a heavy duty 3/4" shaft, making the assembly exceptionally strong and more efficient.

    Note: This water pump is for 1949-1953 engines in 1948-1952 pickups or 1932-1948 cars.

    These pumps are assembled with 356-T6 heat treated aluminum castings. Precision CNC machined components. The fan hubs are 1/2" thick and machined from billet steel. These pumps are preferred by many top engine builders for higher RPM applications.

    • Fan hub has a dual pattern for 1-1/4" and 1-1/2" center to center fan mounting patterns
    • Pump measures 5.581" from mounting point on block to front of hub flange
    • To end of the hub snout is an additional .710" for an overall length of 6.291"
    These stage 3 water pumps feature 1/2" thick steel fan hub with set screw for positive positioning and 356-T6 heat treated aluminum casting. There is higher flow and pressure for better cooling as well as equal flow to right and left cylinder heads.  The 3/4" bearings offer 5 times the strength of standard bearings.  Precision impeller installed to exacting tolerances.  One year manufacturers warranty.

    • Fan hub has a 1-3/4" bolt pattern
    • The lower hose comes out on the driver's side and uses a 1-3/4" lower hose

    Includes a heavy duty bearing and 3/4" shaft and pulley snout; and 1/2" NPT hole on the passenger side (for heater hose) and on the top (for by-pass hose). Thicker (0.100") stamped steel rear plate. Weighs 6 lbs.

    Walker Cobra Series radiators boast a relatively thin, but efficient, high-flow copper core which is ideal for use with mild Small Block engines with stock or low compression ratios. Each radiator is built for a direct fit with heavy gauge steel side brackets and standard mounting holes pre-stamped. Plus, all radiators feature a built-in oil cooler for use with automatic transmissions. They work with original, reproduction, steel or fiberglass grille shells.

    • Dummy filler neck in OEM location - accepts stock type caps & accessories
    • Copper core w/ 1-piece brass tanks
    • Vertical tubes every 1/4" and 17 fins per inch of height
    • Heavy duty 12 Ga. steel side brackets w/ pre-drilled holes
    • Use a 15-18 lb. radiator cap
    • Brass drain cock
    • Simple bolt-in install w/ no modifications to grille or grille shell
