This gear fits on the rear of the camshaft and drives the oil pump.     Said to be its most popular flathead intake, Offenhauser’s 2x2 Regular intake has closely spaced carbs that will clear the stock generator. The Offy regular dual intake accepts two 3-bolt carbs. Great addition to a street oriented engine. Has 4-3/4" carb centers.

    Has room for generator in stock location, but generally requires an offset bracket. If using a GM alternator, use our chrome 916-67909 or plain 916-67910 bracket.

    Original flathead water pumps have always suffered from unreliable bronze bushings and carbon seals. They almost always leaked and even Ford manuals warned mechanics not to tighten fan belts too tight. The excess slack allowed belts to slip and lose contact with the generator and water pump pulleys, causing more cooling and power problems.

    Speedway's completely new water pumps feature severe-duty roller and ball bearings, close tolerances and modular impellers to provide maximum flow and reduce cavitation. They also have modern ceramic seals on a heavy duty 3/4" shaft, making the assembly exceptionally strong and more efficient.

    Note: This water pump is for 1949-1953 engines in 1948-1952 pickups or 1932-1948 cars.

    This oil pump pick-up is a reproduction of those used in F-Series trucks. They are designed to be direct replacements in 1932-47 car oil pans and 1932-53 truck oil pans ONLY. When used on 1932-1948 Flatheads, installation of a newer style (1949-1953) oil pump like our Speedway and Melling pump is required.

    Note: May require slight modification when used with high volume oil pumps.

    Note: If used with 1949-53 Flathead Ford V8s, considerable modification to the oil pan will be necessary to work.  1949-53 Flatheads will require a "car" style oil pump pickup for a direct replacement version.

    Speedy Bill designed this 1932-1953 Flathead intake with a few of the secrets he has learned over the years, like a raised plenum and long runner.

    It accepts the common 4 bbl carbs and includes a breather up front and a PVC breather in the back. Does not accept stock fuel pump. 6-1/2" tall.

    A Speedway Motors exclusive! The center exhaust ports on flatheads are siamesed. Our baffles separate these two exhaust ports and prevent reversion while decreasing the dilution of the intake charge. These are a must for high-performance flatheads. The baffle is held in place with an extended stud that replaces the stock cylinder head stud. 

    • Manufactured from bronze to withstand high exhaust temperatures
    • Includes center adapter stud to pinch the baffle in place

    Per the Manufacturer - This flywheel is generally not recommended for naturally aspirated street vehicles but, will work well in lighter weight vehicles with either a supercharged or turbocharged engine. This lightweight flywheel is ideal for higher horsepower engines and combinations that require achieving rapid RPM levels.
