    This heavy duty relay takes the heavy-amp load off the switch, thus preventing an overheated circuit and a possible wiring harness fire. Works well with electric fans and horn circuits too. 30 amp relay.

    The wiring for the relay is as follows:

    • Short Red Wire (from relay post 87) = power lead to horn or fan
    • Long Red Wire (from relay post 30) = main power supply in
    • Short Black Wire (from relay post 85) = makes ground connection thru a temp sensitive switch or a grounding horn button
    • Long Gray Wire (from relay post 86) = connects to switched 12 volt power (like ignition switch) so horn or fan turns on/off with key

    This AFCO electric fan switch uses a ground wire to turn the electric cooling fan on. The thermal fan switch features a 1/4" NPT threaded brass body with a spade terminal for hook-up. Cooling fan switch activates a cooling fan relay (not included, sold seperately) when the bulb is immersed in coolant that is 200° F. When the engine cools to 185° F, the contacts on the fan relay switch open, and the fan stops automatically. Make sure the temperature fan switch bulb is submerged in the HOT engine coolant.

    This Painless Micro Fuse Harness solves a dilemma faced by many custom car builders: where to mount the fuse block.  With engine compartments becoming more crowded and underdash space at a premium, there often is not room for a standard size fuse block. The new Micro Fuse Harness is the answer.

    The key element is the fuse block itself: it measures just 3" x 3-1/2" x 2" yet holds 12 fuses and 2 relays. You can easily tuck it up under the seat or, because of the unique design of this harness, mount it in the trunk. The fuse block is covered to keep it free from dirt and contaminants.

    Wiring harness is designed with three major groups incorporated into it:

    • Engine/Headlight Group Includes: high beam, low beam, park, right turn, left turn, electric fan, horn, starter solenoid, battery feed, alternator (output/exciter wire), coil, water temperature, oil pressure and air conditioning.
