    When you put modern front disc brakes on your '55-'57 Chevy car, you should update the master cylinder as well. The stock '55-'57 drum brake master cylinder does not have the capacity to supply the proper amount of pressure for front disc brakes. This simple bolt-on power brake assembly will ensure your brakes are operating at peak performance.

    • Kit contains a 1" bore master cylinder with 1/2"-20 and 9/16"-18 outlets, 8" dual diaphragm booster, and a disc/drum combination valve (provides proportioning and metering).
    • Also includes line to connect the prop/metering block to the master cylinder and the necessary hardware to mount the booster to your original '55-'57 Chevy brake pedal.
    • Measures 14-1/4" from firewall bracket to end of master cylinder.

    These electrically boosted master cylinders are really slick. Rather than using bulky vacuum boosters to generate increased hydraulic force, they employ remote-mounted electric pumps and accumulators to build brake pressure.

    The compact and attractive aluminum master cylinder can easily be retro-fitted on the firewall of most American cars, or can be frame mounted if you have 5-1/4" of under-floor clearance.

    12 volt electric pump and accumulator assembly can be mounted out of sight on the frame or in the trunk. For disc/drum applications.

    Low pressure or return line is a 3/8" hose fitting, located on the driver's side of the master cylinder when mounted to the firewall.  

    The pumps feature 3/8"-24 IFF high pressure line from the master cylinder. A return or low pressure line is a 3/8" hose fitting. A 48" piece of return line is supplied with both kits.

    The master cylinder has slotted mounting holes with spacing that will accept a 3-1/16" to 3-7/16" on center mounting distance, and will accept both 3/8" and 10MM bolts. The reservoir is 10" long by 3" wide by 3" tall.

    These high-tech corvette-style master cylinders were designed using OE specifications and 100% tested.  They have a 1" bore and are suited for disc/drum combinations. Each master cylinder is ported on both the left and right sides, allowing for installation in many different applications. This exclusive design features a mating flange that works with applications requiring 3-1/8” through 3-3/8” bolt patterns.  These master cylinders will work with manual or power brake systems and can be quickly changed with the included adapter pin to plug the deep well.  The wide body and low profile gives this master cylinder the clearance you need when installing in tight areas and yet it maintains a large volume of fluid necessary for 2 and 4 wheel disc brake applications.

    Corvette-style master cylinder has a 1-1/8" bore and is suited for disc/drum combinations. Features dual outlets so the plumbing can come out either side of the master cylinder. These master cylinders will work with manual or power brake systems. They come with a deep-well piston for manual brakes and an adapter to fill the deep well for use with a power booster.
