This open drive conversion allows you to keep your 1935-48 Ford rearend intact and run a normal driveshaft. This is a bolt-on kit that fits the common 6-spline pinion and requires no machine work.

    Replace stock Jag input shaft flange with this drive shaft yoke. Accepts standard Chevrolet universal joint. 10 spline only. Use with Chicago Rawhide Seal #15788 (available at local parts store).  Thread for bolts is 1/4-28.

    When this yoke is used on a Jag rear end, you will need to purchase a seal that we don't carry.

    The seal needed is CR15788 (Chicago Rawhide) or 5778 (American Bearing.) The 'stock' jag yoke has a larger seal diameter than our yoke, thus the need for the special seal. The diameter where the seal rides is approximately 1.552."

                This is a great new concept for street rods with tubular or I-beam axles. It's hard to visualize how this works, but it's the hottest new idea out there! 

    Designed to replace the common Vega steering box, this rack and pinion assembly has a long passenger-side tie rod that hooks up to the spindle like a Vega-style drag link. The rack unit is mounted on a sturdy bracket that bolts to your existing Vega box mount. The rack mounts much lower and farther forward than a box to provide more clearance, and those who have installed the system report quicker steering response and easier effort than a steering box.

    The racks have 9/16" 26-spline shafts and the extension shafts are 5/8" 36-spline, just like a Vega box. Plus, our steering shaft extension 910-32244 allows you to reuse your existing steering U-joints and shafts when replacing your Vega box.

    Specify 11/16" or 5/8" tie rod thread. The 5/8" is used with a LH heim joint, 11/16" is used with a LH tie rod end. Outer tie rod and jam nut not included.

    If you are using heim ends, you may wish to order heim 175-0316 and jam nut 910-01056. If using tie rod ends, you may wish to order tie rod end 910-02919 and jam nut 910-01159.

    This universal, dual wiper drive kit has two wiper shafts that are driven by a remote mounted, commercial duty, 2-speed wiper motor. The sweep is adjustable from 90°-160° in 10° increments. Wiper shafts accept arms (not included) that fit 1/2" fine spline knurls or arms that fit 1/4" shafts. 

    This complete drive kit has a standard 72" drive cable and 2-speed rotary (knob) switch.

    Stock length (5-1/2") slip yoke for GM applications with 1-3/16" x 27-spline output shaft. Works with 1310 series U-joints.

    • This yoke measures 5-1/2" from tip to centerline of u-joint
    • This yoke is grooved for an "external" u-joint cap retaining clip
    • The machined length on the yoke is 3-3/4"

    The expressed measurement or length of the slip yoke is taken from the center of the u-joint to tip, not overall. 

    Fits over the output shaft of the following transmissions: 

    • Common GM/Saginaw 3 & 4 speed transmissions with a 1-3/16" x 27 spline output shaft

    Longer slip yokes help compensate for extreme travel rear suspension set-ups or drive shaft lengths slightly shorter than needed. Yoke is grooved for external u-joint cap retaining clips. Works with 1310 series U-joints.

    This front driveshaft slip yoke measures 6-3/4" from the centerline of the u-joint to the front edge. Length of machined part of yoke is 4-3/4".

    Fits over the output shaft of the following transmissions:

    This Ford C-4 driveshaft slip yoke measures 6.5" from the center of the U-joint cup to the front end of the yoke. Fits transmissions with 28 spline tailshafts. Accepts 1310 style U-joints (popular Chevy) with 1-1/16" cups and a spread of 3-7/32".

     

    Note: Due to the length of the yoke, it will fit C4 transmissions ONLY, and is not recommended for use on an AOD transmission. The expressed measurement or length of the slip yoke is taken from the center of the u-joint to tip, not overall.
