                Finally an affordable distributor for you Ford guys! Basically this is a GM HEI distributor that fits 289-302 Fords. It is fully self-contained and requires only one wire to hook-up. No need for an MSD box. NOT compatible with computer controlled vehicles.

    It uses the GM HEI cap, rotor and module, and includes mechanical and vacuum advances. Comes complete as shown.  Shaft diameter of .450".

    Note: This distributor has an O-ring seal that has a VERY tight fit when installing for the first time. We suggest using a small amount of lithium grease or silicone lubricant on this seal to ease installation.

    The E-Curve Distributor will drop right in your Ford 289/302 and fire up its performance. The E-Curve Distributor features a digital control module that manages the timing curve replacing the centrifugal advance springs and weights. This module lets you select from nearly 100 different advance curves, including a vacuum advance by turning two rotary dials!

    You can also set an rpm limit that will protect your engine from overrev damage caused by a missed shift or driveline failure. These distributors are also fit with a high-output ignition module so there is no need to run an external ignition box. This combination makes these distributors ideal for restored muscle cars and street rods to keep a stock or clean appearance under the hood. The E-Curve Distributor is topped with MSD’s Rynite molded cap and rotor and is supplied with a heavy-duty gear and a matching 3-Pin Weathertight wiring harness.

    Small Block Ford MSD bronze distributor gears are machined from quality AMPCO 45 aluminum bronze containing 5% nickel. This special com­bination creates high-strength gear teeth that are less prone to wear, even with high-volume oil pumps.

    For SBF V8 with solid roller cams. Gear has a .466" I.D.

    Each aluminum pump is manufactured from T6 aluminum and features a revised impeller entry with curved vanes for maximum flow, pressure and equal distribution to both sides of the block. It also features a unique seal assembly for leak proof operation.

    • Fan hub has a 1-3/4" bolt pattern
    • The lower hose comes out on the driver's side and uses a 1-3/4" lower hose

    Includes a heavy duty bearing and 3/4" shaft and pulley snout; and 1/2" NPT hole on the passenger side (for heater hose) and on the top (for by-pass hose). Thicker (0.100") stamped steel rear plate. Weighs 6 lbs.

    If you are running a maximum effort 260-289-302 S/B Ford V8, then this is the intake for you! Professional Products' Cross Wind design incorporates an open area under the plenum to allow a full flow of cool air to pass through. This is similar to features found on single plane racing manifolds and this design can provide more power and torque due to a cooler, more dense intake charge. This dual plane, 180° performance manifold is designed to be used with Holley, Carter AFB, or Edelbrock square flange carbs.

    Use with an electric drill to prime engine before starting. Remove the distributor and insert this primer to engage the end of the oil pump drive. Pump drive end of the primer fits 1/4" hex male end of the oil pump drive. 9" total length.

    MSD's billet distributors are for Ford enthusiasts who are serious about performance! Just under the brass terminals of the MSD cap and rotor is an easy-to-adjust mechanical advance assembly. The assembly is fine blanked from chro-moly steel, TIG-welded for strength plus receives a QPQ coating. The precision weights glide on nylon bushings for smooth advancement and different springs and stop bushings are supplied so a variety of advance curves can be tuned. The steel shaft that spins the advance and reluctor receives a friction reducing coating plus is guided by a sealed ball bearing and long sintered bushing. This combination provides stable timing signals and spark delivery at any rpm. Triggering chores are handled by MSD’s race proven, maintenance-free magnetic pick-up. 

    Fits 289-302 Small Block Ford V8. Must be used with an MSD 6, 7, 8 or 10 Series ignition control.
