    These kits allow you to mount front disc brakes on your 1955-1964 Chevy full-size car (Bel-Air, Biscayne, Impala, 150 Series, 210 Series). Front disc brakes provide a significant improvement in braking performance versus the drum brakes your old Chevy came with. This disc brake kit works with stock, drum brake spindles only - it does not work with 2" drop spindles. Kit will work with 14" wheels intended for disc brake applications, as well as most 15" (or larger) wheels.

    Rotors are 11" diameter with 5 on 4-3/4" bolt pattern and calipers have 7/16"-20 inlets. This kit will increase track width 7/8" per side or 1-3/4" total when installed.

    Just what's needed to update your classic Tri-Five Chevy! Eliminate those archaic ball bearings and gain first class stopping power all at once with this front disc brake conversion kit. Rotors and caliper brackets bolt onto your original spindles with no modification or machining required. Calipers mount to the front of the spindle.

    This disc brake kit will increase the total front track width by 1-3/4" (7/8” per side).

    • Uses 11" rotors and 1969-72 GM calipers (7/16"-20 inlets)
    • May not clear some 14" wheels
    • Bolts onto stock '55-'57 spindles with no machine work

    Our 3" dropped axle for your classic '47-'54 Chevy half-ton pick-up will get the front end down where you want it. The center portion of the axle is made of 2" DOM tubing while the ends are CNC milled for solid steel. These axles give you 3" of drop.

    The Chevy axles require the steering arm to be modified to accept rod ends or tie rods. U-bolts sold separately.

    • King pin to king pin centers = 50.5"
    • 6" drop measured from spring pad to spindle boss center
    • Axle accepts a 1-3/4" wide spring
    • Spring pad center-to-center = 26.75"
    • Center to center of u-bolt holes is 2.30" side to side
    • Center to center of u-bolt holes front to rear is 3.195"
    • Spring pad width is 29.072" center to center of the outer U-bolt holes
    • Axle Kingpin Boss Height:  2-7/16" (2.438")
    • Axle will provide a camber reading of -1.5 degrees

Each kit includes premuim Wilwood brake components, spindles, flat steering arms, tie rod assembly and hardware. Hubs are drilled for both 4-1/2" and 4-3/4" bolt patterns. Must be used with a 15" or larger wheel. For use on cars up to 2800 pounds with rear discs or on cars up to 2400 pounds with rear drums.     The Nostalgia T frame is engineered to provide the ultimate in economy and ease of assembly. It features the same spring-behind-axle front suspension as the Budget T, but includes front shock/headlight mounts. The coilover rear suspension uses traditional-style radius rods and a panhard bar, with all necessary mounts welded in place. If you're looking for an affordable, well-engineered T-bucket chassis requiring only basic mechanical skills to assemble, the Nostalgia T is for you! 

    Shown with optional rearend and engine mounts installed. This part number does not include a rear axle housing or engine/transmission mounts (as pictured). If you wish to add these items to your chassis, simply purchase these items along with your frame kit. 

    All of our T kits are also available with chrome suspension.  This option includes chrome plated: front and rear hairpins, rear coilovers, front axle, front leaf spring, front shocks, steering arms, tie rod, drag link, and related hardware.

    This kit allows you to put front disc brakes on your 1955-64 fullsize Chevy passenger car (Bel-Air, Biscayne, Impala, 150 Series, 210 Series) OEM spindles (will NOT work with dropped spindles). It will work with 14" wheels intended for disc brakes, as well as most 15" (or larger) wheels. Works with 5 on 4-3/4 inch bolt patterns.

    Use with our 11" rotor 910-65390 and metric caliper 910-31045 (see Notes). This kit will increase track width 3/8" per side or or 3/4" total when installed.
