    KRC's adjustable idler - tensioner is used to keep proper belt tension and prevent belt slippage when using a mechanical fan. This can occur on both single drive belt and pulley systems that have a steering pump mounted of the front of an engine.

    KRC's idler tensioner is essential on dirt cars. Belt slippage can occur on cars that exceed 7,000 RPM and/or use a large or heavy fixed fan blade or a fan blade with a lot of pitch, which potentially causes overheating & pulleys to wear faster. This occurs on both single drive belt and pulley systems with a power steering pump mounted on the front of the engine. 

    Fan belts and pulleys work to slow down the fan. The belt slips because it is stretching to slow the fan. The belt heats up as the the the stretching increases. The only way to properly tension the belt is with an adjustable idler/tensioner. This keeps the engine running cooler because the belt is tighter. This will allow faster acceleration out of turns and harder braking on corners.

    Original flathead water pumps have always suffered from unreliable bronze bushings and carbon seals. They almost always leaked and even Ford manuals warned mechanics not to tighten fan belts too tight. The excess slack allowed belts to slip and lose contact with the generator and water pump pulleys, causing more cooling and power problems.

    Speedway's completely new water pumps feature severe-duty roller and ball bearings, close tolerances and modular impellers to provide maximum flow and reduce cavitation. They also have modern ceramic seals on a heavy duty 3/4" shaft, making the assembly exceptionally strong and more efficient.

    Note: This water pump is for 1949-1953 engines in 1948-1952 pickups or 1932-1948 cars.

    Take the fear out of electronic fuel injection! These engine wiring harnesses are designed to make your engine transplant effortless. Each new harness contains in-depth application-specific instruction sheets, clearly marked factory GM connectors, labeled GXL jacketed wire, GM color coding, and pre-fitted corrugated slit loom for an extra value and professional look.     These fender well headers provide the ultimate performance for 396-502 big block Chevy V8s in 1955-57 Chevy car applications. They kick up over the frame rail and exit just at the bottom of the cowl, which makes them perfect for Gasser-style rods and drag cars. Plus, these headers feature long primary tubes that help produce more horsepower and torque than shorter, more compact headers.

    These headers are not for the faint of heart since you must cut the inner fender panels to make them fit, and tire clearance can be a problem on some applications. They may require smaller front tires to avoid contact. The stock emergency brake rod must also be altered. Can be used with most oil filter systems or transmission and starter combinations. The headers are designed to be used with engines in the stock location, not lowered as many kits do, so all '55-'57 cars should check motor mount positioning before ordering.

    These Speedway headers allow you to keep the exhaust system under your '55-'57 Chevy car. The "3/4-length" design provides more ground clearance than full-length headers, yet makes more power than "shorty" style headers. These chassis headers fit 283-400 S/B Chevy V8s and has 1-5/8" primary tubes with 2-1/2" collectors. These ceramic coated headers provide superior performance and durability.

    • Mid-length design offers maximum ground clearance
    • Designed to work with stock or 605 power steering box
    • Fits cars using an original V-8 pitman arm (some aftermarket arms may cause an interference)

    These billet aluminum adapters allow you to put an LS1 where a S/B Chevy would mount. They bolt to the sides of your LS1 and accept standard S/B Chevy mounts. Metric and Standard hardware included.

    • Constructed from .383" thick aluminum
    • LS1 bolt pattern is 4 3/8” horizontal and 3 1/16” vertical

    This complete stand alone plain electronic fuel injection system supports up to 500 horsepower and is by far the simplest and cleanest aftermarket EFI system available. It's also the easiest to install and tune. The "Adaptive Learning" feature eliminates the necessity for laptop programming and tuning, except on the most radical engines. By "cleanest", we mean it has minimal wiring showing, so for those street rod, street machine, and custom car enthusiasts who object to other EFI systems because of all the engine clutter with wires running everywhere, this is the system they have been waiting for. 

    It utilizes a wideband O2 sensor, a feature missing from many competitive units. It also has a 2.5 BAR MAP sensor which means you can run up to 20 PSI of boost if you have a supercharger or turbocharger. The fuel pump comes with a combination heat sink and mounting bracket. The EMS (engine management system) mounts directly on the throttle body eliminating a major portion of the wiring required. This means you do not have to cut a hole into the firewall. Additionally the MAP sensor is packaged into the throttle body which means one less component cluttering up your firewall and no vacuum hose needed to run from the firewall to the manifold.

                Universal mount allows 260-289-302-351W S/B Fords and 1970-1974 Cleveland engines with front sump oil pan to be installed into most frames up to 38" wide. Cut for frame width, then bolt or weld in.   

    Note: We've found a lot of variation in width of Ford blocks. Bolt the cushion to the block first to get proper width measurement. Mounts are not returnable once they've been altered or installed!
