    Our lightweight extruded aluminum lowering blocks are stronger than billet!  Available in several heights, all 2-1/2" wide, 5" long.  The centering pin is 9/16".  These blocks will increase or decrease suspension height on most leaf spring applications and can be installed below the leaf spring to raise the vehicle or on top of the leaf spring to lower the vehicle. These lowering blocks allow you to lower your leaf spring vehicle by up to 4 inches.  Heavy Duty U-bolts and hardware are available separately.

    Leaf spring sliders bolt on in place of shackles. Heavy duty versions feature roller bearings that keep car from binding up during suspension movement. Comes with brass bushing for 1" I.D. spring eye.

    Designed for Chrysler type mono-leaf and multi-leaf racing springs. They must be altered and modified to work with the Camaro/Nova/Firebird leaf springs.

    • Eliminates "jacking" problem associated with loading & unloading of the shackles
    • Helps maintain consistent spring rate for predictable handling
    • More rigid than typical shackle/bushing combination

    To determine which spring clamp will fit your application, use a tape measure, ruler or caliper to measure the width of the main spring leaf (not length of leaf or leaf thickness) and order the spring clamps for that width. Most early Ford coupes and roadsters (and universal aftermarket replacement front ends for these types of vehicles) use a 1-3/4" wide spring.

    Use these brackets to mount a late model rear axle into a Model T - Model A Ford chassis when using a high-arch, 2-1/4" wide transverse rear leaf spring (like our 910-43102). Brackets locate the leaf spring directly above the axle housing. Includes zinc plated shackles with nylon bushings, weld-on brackets, and instructions.

    To determine which spring clamp will fit your application, use a tape measure, ruler or caliper to measure the width of the main spring leaf (not length of leaf or leaf thickness) and order the spring clamps for that width. The 2-1/4" wide springs were normally found on the rear of early Fords.

    These new multi-leaf rear springs by Posies lower your classic Ford half-ton pickup 3" more than a set of stock replacement springs. Super Slide springs incorporate moly-nylon buttons that reside in die-formed pockets at the tips of the spring leave. Replace your 50 year old stock springs with these new, computer-designed leaf springs for a much smoother ride. Springs have reduced load capacity from stock just from the fact that you are lowering your vehicle.

    Does not include shackles, shackle bolts, or U-bolts. U-bolts available separately as part number 916-3326.

    Note: Only the bolts are stainless, the clamping plate and leaf spacer are regular steel. Apply an anti-seize compound to ensure that the threads are not damaged upon assembly.

    Note: Only the bolt finish is chrome, the clamping plate and leaf spacer have a plain finish. Threaded items which are chrome plated will have a build-up of chrome in threads. You must run a tap or die over those threads and apply an anti-seize compound or the parts will be damaged upon assembly.

    These kits include our gasser straight front axle, semi-elliptical springs, spindles, king pins, steering arms, tierod kit, brake kit, and hardware. Choose either 5 on 4-1/2" or 5 on 4-3/4" bolt pattern with standard brake kit or Wilwood brake kit. Standard brake kits use new rotors and GM metric style calipers. Brake lines not included. Shocks not included, but shock mounts are included. Assembly required.

    The Tribute T frame has an extra-high rear kickup and Model A rear crossmember that will accept our medium-arch rear leaf spring. Rear axle options include our bolt-on Winters quick-change kit 7151801, bolt-on 9" Ford rear axle option 7151809, or a Ford-style banjo rear end of your choice (must be a centered-pinion rear axle). The front suspension uses a 4 inch drop I-beam axle, wishbone-style radius rods and traditional steering with a reversed Corvair steering box.
