    If you don't want to spend an arm and a leg on a rear disc brake kit and still have to weld the bracket on, we've got you covered. This kit includes bolt-on caliper brackets, 11-1/4" vented rotors, '78-'88 GM metric style calipers, brake pads and hardware.

    • Fits both 5 on 4-1/2" and 5 on 4-3/4" bolt circles
    • For Ford passenger car axles ONLY 
    • Fits axle with maximum flange diameter of 6-1/4" O.D.
    • For 15" and larger wheel applications ONLY

    NOTE: This bolt on brake kit is designed to be used on 8" and 9" housings using 3/8" retaining bolts. If you want to use it on a 9" housing with 1/2" bolts, you will need to use the 3/8" hardware to do so. Fits "old" and "new" style big bearing (3.150" bearing O.D.) Ford housings and with axle offsets of a minimum 2-3/8" to 2-1/2".

    When it comes to brake rotors, racers are constantly searching for the ultimate balance between the lowest weight and the ability to effectively manage heat. Decreased rotating weight in the drive line provides quicker deceleration under braking and quicker acceleration out of the corners. Lower weight also benefits handling with improved spring and shock control over the unsprung suspension mass. Wilwood's ULS-32 scalloped iron rotors provides effective lightweight options for sprints, late models, modifieds, and other competition applications that race in low to medium temperature ranges.

    If you are using 1978-88 GM Metric style brake calipers your choices of piston sizes are pretty much limited to 2-1/2". This isn't bad unless you want to 'tune' your braking by using different size calipers front to rear. By using a larger 2-3/4" piston you will increase the braking force at a wheel over a wheel using a smaller piston.

    Bleeder and inlet are both 10mm-1.5 inlet allowing the caliper to be used on either side. Plus, these calipers have been ground smooth to make them easier to paint.

    Includes pads and hardware. Sold as EACH.

    The Dyna Pro Single (DPS) billet caliper is the newest generation of calipers available as an upgrade or replacement for applications previously using the Dynalite Single (DLS) series. DPS calipers combine superior strength with performance enhancements to make these the best "Dyna" series calipers ever.

    The DPS is loaded with exclusive Wilwood performance enhancements. The calipers feature Quick-E-Clip pad retainers that support a 6812 type brake pad from the top. In addition to past pad service without caliper removal, the feature provides substantially stronger retention over the single Quick-Clip pin and 7012 type pads used in the previous DLS models.

    This kit will work with spindles having either original steering arms or with flat steel steering arms. It will NOT work with forged aftermarket steering arms. Wheels must have 3-7/16" center hole and have been designed for disc brake applications. Will NOT work with early Ford factory wire or steel drum brake wheels.
