    With their exciting, racy styling, Track T roadsters are some of the most recognizeable hot rods in American automotive history. Designed for nostalgic originality, Speedway’s Track-T Roadster is an economical way to relive that vintage motoring spirit. This kit car turns heads wherever it goes with its beautiful, one-piece 1927 T body, smooth lines and custom track style nose.  The Track-T is designed to use the powertrain from 4-cylinder or V6 powered rear wheel drive vehicles.  In such a small, lightweight car they become mighty spirited performers.

    The 1927 Track-T basic kit includes a 1927 Model T Roadster body with right and left full length side frame covers and custom floor with transmission tunnel.  It also comes with a passenger compartment rear bulkhead divider, street rodder nose, rear roll pan, smooth flat cowl/firewall and front shock mounts.  Headlight mounts, hood top, and aluminum hood sides are also included. The storage compartment behind the seat is even large enough to accept 2-3 suitcases, or a large cooler & picnic basket. 

    The rigid tube steel chassis features front & rear kick-ups for a lower ride height and includes pre-mounted suspension bracketry.     Starlite 55-XD hubs elevate performance and versatility for racing applications that require uncompromised strength without excessive additional weight. At just over 7 pounds, the 55-XD achieves it superior strength and modest weight through a highly efficient redesign of racing’s most popular wide 5 hub, the Starlight 55. The 55-XD employs a bolt-on rotor mount plate that adds overall strength by eliminating the brake torque loading from the main hub body, by taking the stress loads of the braking torque out of the hub body and moving it to the thicker, stronger section of the hub near the inner wheel bearing, provides a measurable decrease in stress deflection in the body.

    The rotor mount plates are configured for both fixed and dynamic rotor mounting by simply changing the bolt kits. With dynamic mount t-nut rotor bolt kits, stresses from the dissimilar thermal expansion rates of the iron rotor and the aluminum mount are fully isolated from the hub body, and the rotor mount plate as well. For less extreme temperature applications, the rotors can be fixed mounted. All 55-XD hubs feature our black e-coat finish to seal the castings and preserve their good Looks. They are cold formed over a two-stage mandrel and heat treated twice to get a perfect part. Wheels are fully polished front and back with for easy maintenance good looks and long life.

    Big Bell wheel halves provide extra clearance for brake calipers on left front and right rear inners. Sander wheel halves do not include lock ring or cover.
