    Titan's ball joint separators are the tools to use to separate those stubborn ball joints from the steering knuckles. To use them, simply insert the tools between the parts to be separated and hammer the end. This will break the parts free and make replacement and disassembly of the front suspension and steering components easy. Made from forged, heat-treated, heavy-duty alloy steel, Titan's ball joint separators feature a knurled handle and tapered fork ends with a 5/16 in. opening. So, if you need to replace ball joints on your own vehicle, you really need to get your hands on these tools!

    1. These ball joint use a 1973-95 GM Truck taper, but they have a longer (taller) stud than the stock GM part. The taller stud changes the pivot point due to its length, which in turn raises the car's roll center. Very common ball joint on IMCA Modifieds.  
    2. Lower ball joint fits most stut cars, 1971-1976 Impala and most wide-type dirt cars. Press-In.
    3. Fits most popular racing and passenger car spindles.

    2. This ball joint will NOT fit the stock taper in a 1963-71 GM truck spindle. To use this with GM-type spindles the upper taper must be reamed with reamer 910-89411.
