    Note: If you are purchasing this to fit onto a '78-'88 GM "metric" chassis for racing purposes and require a passenger side/right front control arm, you should be purchasing # 106-18300R. If you require a driver side/left front control arm, you should be purchasing # 106-18300L.

    If you are purchasing this arm for use in a '68-'72 Nova or '67-'69 Camaro, you will need to purchase the left hand arm for the passenger/right side and the right side arm for the drivers/left side.

    AFCO Low Friction Ball Joints are designed with 2 ft. lbs. of resistance, the force required to move the stud of the ball joint.  Compare this with standard replacement joints, with as high as 50 ft. lbs. of resistance.  A difference you can feel!  It is critical to handling that suspension components be as free as possible to move.  Low friction ball joints allow the suspension to give rather than allowing the tire to bounce over rough surfaces.  Low tire pressures magnify the need to minimize friction in the suspension.

    At the heart of the M2 is the unique bladder design.  While other floating piston designs effectively "turn off" while trying to overcome stiction and changes in direction, the M2's gas inflated bladder is able to expand and compress at incomparably high speeds, very slow speeds, very small movements, and large deflection all at the same time with virtually no resistance or friction.  The result is a feeling of being stuck to the track rather than riding over it.

    Due to its unique design, the adjustments you make with the M2 have a very large effect on handling.

    The M2's mono-tube, gas pressure design coupled with its superior valve design and use of gas charged bladder provide real, substantial control of compression and rebound resistances throughout the entire velocity range.  This means the M2's adjustments are much more pronounced and provide more sensitive and extended low speed adjustments for increased effective tuning range.
