I used it backwards in a Garden Tractor to make it steer easier. Worked fantastic ! One issue though is that the female splines they sell with it fit a little sloppy onto the stub ends, but I was able to shim it by putting some .004 brass shim stock on the backside of the tightening bolt. This is more of an issue here because unlike a car, this has a very short steering shaft and any out of round action can bind things up. LOVE IT.
My old quickener wore out & I needed to replace it. I bought a product I could trust & it works great. Thanks Speedway. RJ Headley
Works well, no slop, good price. Would be nice if it wasn't purple, but whatever.

Do you mount the steering wheel on the Quickener directly? or do I need to add a steering shaft to the quickener out to the steering wheel with a bearing?

Typically there will be a coupler or U-joint with a length of shaft supported by a bearing between the quickener and the steering wheel. I would not recommend mounting the steering wheel directly at the end of the quickener due to that placing a high amount of side load on the bearings of the quickener which it was not designed for.
