This safety device will automatically stop fuel flow if your car somehow gets upside down. Inside is a needle/ball seat which stops fuel flow out the vent if you get upside down.
I used this product to vent the fuel tanks on all of my street rod projects. I do not expect to roll any of these cars over, but they do sit outside in the sun at car shows. I like the hose connection to move the vapors away from the tank. On my 67-72 Chevy truck we used it to vent into a canister like the orginal 72 had.
Solved all my fuel vent problems and no modification to install.

I installed a 25 gallon fuel tank in my '55 Chevy. I needed a vent to avoid backup when filling the tank. This roll over-vent valve was the perfect choice.
