Nice looking finish, strong, the blade curves move more air than the stock fans.
My 4 blade AFCO was not enough when I switched to gas this year in my modified. I run much cooler with this fan but did notice a slight RPM drop.
Very well made piece. I'm using on a SBC in a T-roadster.
My race car was running over 240. Installed this 17" fan and now runs at 180 for the whole race. Lots of air through the radiator even at idle.
had a run hot problem on my 1957 Chevrolet 210 sedan until I added this heavy duty steel race fan.

I have a 1965 Pontiac Tempest with a 1973 400 CI engine. My factory fan is bent. Will this fan work as a replacement for the stock fan?

Speedway part number 9101575 would be a fine replacement for your Tempest. You may need to get a spacer, such as our part number 91015720 to space it out from the water pump pulley. Your original would have had a fan clutch that spaced it out from the pulley.

On this 6 blade fan, which side does the very end curved part of the fan blade face, the engine or the radiator? Thanks

The blades twist from the mount flange and the leading edge protrudes forward of the water pump mounting flange by 1 ½”. The rounded tips of the fan blades go towards the engine.
