Application
The nut that is welded on the top of the clamp is 3/8". It is used to prevent the clamp from moving on the rearend.
You can do this two different ways:
- Set everything up and mark where the nut is sitting. Then drill a divit with a 3/8" bit into the rearend (don't go through). This will help the bolt sink into the rearend for a hold.
- Or you can drill out the threads on the nut welded on the clamp. Then drill a hole and tap a hold into the rearend.
