LIGHTWEIGHT DART LITTLE M BLOCK

Dart starts with the steel main capped little M block and they run a lightening program that will reduce the weight by 18 to 20 pounds. These blocks will only work in a sprint car with no starter. Small Block Chevy.

Components Removed:

• Scallop cylinders - outside and valley mounts
• fuel pump mount
• oil filter boss
• clutch tab
• top of bell housing area down to next hole
• side motor
• starter mount
• rear oil passage that feeds oil filter

Components Machined:

• inside of pan rails between mains
• between pairs of lifters
• all main caps
• around cam bearing bores at both ends
• around outside of block just below deck
• reduced all freeze plugs boss to .300 thick
• timing chain pocket
• open web inside lifter gallery
