EARLY HEMI POWERMASTER GEAR REDUCTION STARTERS
|
This eight pound, high-torque gear reduction starter clears all headers and oil pans where original equipment starters won't. Also has no heat soak problems. 4.4:1 reduction ratio, 200 ft. lbs. of torque. Choose 172 or 146 tooth.

Application- The early Hemi started in 1951 as a 331 C.I.
- In 1956, an overboard block allowed for 354 C.I.
- IN 1957, the tall deck block allowed a displacement of 392 C.I.
- The lifespan for the 331-354-392 "Early Hemi" was 1951-1958
- The 426 C.I. "Late Hemi" was produced from 1966-1971
