Additional information for the ford 9 inch disc brake kit:
This bolt on brake kit is designed to be used on 8" and 9" housings using 3/8" retaining bolts. If you want to use it on a 9" housing with 1/2" bolts, you will need to use the 3/8" hardware to do so.
This brake rotor has the following vital "stats":
- O.D. = 11-1/4"
- Center hole = 2.878"
- Back space = 2.300"
- Thickness = .938 (15/16")
- This rotor sits on an axle flange or hub-face app.
- 6-1/4" O.D. and it features dual bolt patterns
- 5 lug on 4-1/2" (Ford, etc.)
- 5 lug on 4-3/4" (Chevy,GM)
- This is a "vented" rotor
10/12 Bolt Tab
Warning: This disc brake kit does NOT fit all 10 & 12 bolt GM rear axles.
Additional info:
It does NOT fit the rear housings from full-size cars (Biscayne, Bel Air, Impala) or trucks.
It DOES fit the rear housings from Chevelles, Camaros, Novas, and such with the following dimensions on the housing ends:
- Center-to-center on the top two bolts 3-1/8"
- Center-to-center on the bottom two bolts 2-11/16"
- Center of top bolt to center of bottom bolt 2-7/16"

- Bolt pattern 5 lug on 4-3/4"(chevy/gm)
- This is a "vented" rotor
