REAR DISC BRAKE KIT WITH EMERGENCY BRAKE
(NEW STYLE BIG FORD)

Here's a low cost way to add rear disc brakes to your street rod.

Includes:

11" rotors
calipers
brackets
hardware

This brake kit is designed for the late ford 9" (new style Big Ford housing with 3.15 bearings and new style 2.5" offset axle) and 8.8" Ford truck rear axles. NOT 8.8" Mustang axles.

Rotors are drilled for 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern. Designed to be used with 9" Ford rear axles.

Specs

Fluid inlet threads are 3/8"-24 (straight thread, not inverted flare)
The center hole in the rotors is approximately 2.815 I.D. and the rotor can accomodate an axle flange as big as 6-1/2"

Application

This kit will use parking brake cables:

49181FU for floor mount parking brake lever
49180TU plus 49181FC for transmission mount parking brake lever

To start the plumbing process, you may want to purchase:

one pair of 617-2911 plus two each 617-2921 plus one pack 617-3642

OR:

one pair of 617-4396 plus one pack 617-3642
