These steel rear control arm bushings have spherical bearings in them, just like a rod end, which frees up suspension movements and eliminates binding. Fits '73-'88 GM midsize upper and lower rear control arms.
Sold individually.
I think it lets the rearend move much easer than stock bushings
Frees up rear suspension tremendously.
I would buy this product again and again
I use the on a metric body street stock, racing on a 1/4 mile dirt oval track, Really helps handling...

Would these fit in the upper housing GM G body (upper control arm rear mount, ears on axle)?
Asked on 3/29/2011 11:32:53 AM by Joe Frits from Saint Paul Park, MN
These bushings are meant to be used on Street Stock and Hobby Stock cars. Without know your exact dimension on you ears on your rearend I could never guarantee a fit. If you could look at the dimension and compare them to what you have there it would help. The dimensions are as followed: · Hole through bushing: 9/16" ID · Length at center: 2.316" · Length at outside diameter: 1.955" · Outside diameter: OD of bushing has a step (as do original equipment bushings) Step measures 1.912" OD Rest of bushing measures 1.843" OD

How many should I use in my street stock 2 uppers or 2 upper and 2 lower?

Intalling in uppers will help but I would install in both for full advantage of part.

do you think it will help to run these on an asphalt street stock?
Asked on 3/10/2012 2:49:03 AM by iceman from jefferson, pa
Yes these will help any and all race cars that use this style of bushing since it will free up the suspension to travel without friction like a rubber or polyurethane bushing will.
