What's in the Box

Converts any 1/2" bearing end shocks to tie rod end. 7° taper. Adapter studs are threaded 1/2"-20 on each end with an overall length of 3-1/4". One end has a 7° tapered pin, the other end is 1/2" dia.

I needed these to make rear Toe-Control struts for my Rear suspension. These fit the C5 Corvette uprights PERFECTLY. Thanks Monroe and SPEEDWAY!

No this will not work with a shock eyelet width of 1 1/2". The 1/2" OD side of this adapter is 1 3/8" long. It works with shocks that have an eyelet width of 1" or less.

Part # 535AK35 If your vintage race car shock mounts currently are using the old style shocks with the 7 degree taper studs these adapters bolt on to the later bearing eye shocks and furnish the 7 degree taper for mounting in your original shock mounts with the tapered hole

This could be used to adapt your Ford arms to heim ends but the O.D. for the heim is ½”. If you want to run 5/8” heims which are common to the tie rods we offer part number 91636055 and specify Ford/Pinto for the correct taper
