Will this cable system adapt to a stock 48 ford PU inside cab E-brake handle I intend on using the stock 1948 e-brake handle in my PU. It is situate along the kick panel below the dash on the left side. It has a single cable that is approx 4' long that went to the frame crossmember behind the cab. From there the individual cables went to the drums. I have the FORD SVO Explorer disc brakes with the internal e-brake drums on my rear diff. Would like to just adapt this cable system to be activated by the e-brake handle in the cab cable pulling on the clevis for the dual real cables. Is there an intermediate cable available for this connection or will I need to use the original cable.

Using this cable set on your '48 E brake handle lets you bring the two long cables up and over to the left side and then use 49108000 connector cable to go to the original handle on the left side.

Unfortunately this kit will not work for you. This is a Lokar E-Brake cable kit for the Wilwood rear disc brake kits that have a mini drum style emergency brake inside the disc drake hat. However, we do have what you need, the, Lokar Floor/Dash Mount E-Brake Cables, Item #: 49180FU, will work just fine for a 9 inch ford rear end in your 1966 Chevy truck

Sorry we are not familiar with the BAER SS4+ brakes. This kit comes with clevises 49181FC which are intended for Explorer and Wilwood emergency brakes. It is a simple clevis that the cable attaches to and allows it to pull on a hook type emergency brake actuator. If the emergency brake cable hookup looks similar to that of the picture on part number 49181FC then these may work for you.

There is a small amount of adjustment where the two cables mount on the bracket. If you run out of adjustment there you will need to cut the cables down shorter.
