Inverted Flare Brake

Hydraulic line pressure keeps brake secure. No special linkage. Not recommended for use with silicone brake fluid or as an emergency brake. Features 1/8" NPT female on inlet/outlet. Device is generally used to lock the rear brakes. To set the lock, step on the brakes, push the lock knob down, and take your foot off the brake. These high quality stainless steel, braided fluid lines have a 90° fitting on one end and a straight fitting on the other. They work well for brake lines, clutch lines and gauge lines. These are available with AN3 or AN4 fittings. Sold individually. Select applicable length. AN size is the "-#" at the end of the part number.

These proportioning valves are similar to what GM used on many cars in the 70's. They are non-adjustable and may require an adjustable valve in the rear brakes (if needed). This valve can be used as a brake shut-off. When energized, the valve will block pressure from reaching downstream. The valve does not prevent fluid from returning to the master cylinder. This eliminates the possibility of trapping pressure when activating the valve. Requires a 12 Volt, 5 amp (recommended) fused power source through a toggle switch. Warning: Not a line lock assembly.
