Our economical 9" Ford rear axle housing features a reclaimed center section, new 3" axle tubes, and new-style Ford ends. Total track width is 56" from hub-to-hub. The pumpkin is centered in the housing, which puts the pinion offset 2-3/8" from center
This kit makes it easy to order a steering and brake kit in plain or chrome for your Ford axle. Included in kit are forged '37-'41 Ford spindles with fitted kingpins, 1-3/4" dropped bolt-on arms, 11" brake rotors with 5 on 4.5" or 5 on 4.75" bolt pattern, brackets, bearings and seals, mounting hardware, GM Metric calipers, spindle nuts, dust caps, brake lines with tabs, tie rod ends, and tie rod tube.
Get the vintage look you're after with a drilled I-Beam axle from Super Bell. These 4-inch drop axles are cast from high-strength 65-45-12 ductile iron and accept 1937-48 Ford style spindles. We offer them bare or chrome-plated in two widths, 46 or 48 inches measured at the kingpin centers.
Our dropped axles for your classic Ford F1 pickup will get the front end down where you want it. The center portion of the axle is made of 2" DOM tubing while the ends are CNC milled from solid steel. These axles give you 3" of drop on the '48-'56 chassis and 2" of drop on the '57-'60 chassis. Tie rod drops required, U-bolts sold separately.

If your class does not allow a grand national rear end this is your best choice. These housings have new centerless ground 3" tubes installed in reclaimed original Ford 9" housings and have the end and metric brackets jig welded in place. We offer this housing with either centered or 2" offset to the right pinion locations. Works great with Currie cut-to-fit axles. Axles sold separately. IMCA Approved.

Axles measure 47-34" between king pin centers and 38-12" between spring perch boss centers. Plain finish.
These axles have 4" of spline which will allow you to cut a maximum of 3" of the spline off to obtain the correct length. This is perfect for small shops and will allow you to build your own custom width rear end easily. Axle length is measured from the flange to the end of the splines.
