Howe Precision Ball Joints offer the precision of a spherical bearing with the misalignment range of a ball joint. Their rugged steel housings will withstand impacts that can destroy other ball joints. Plus, even if you manage to damage the joint, they are fully rebuildable. The alloy steel ball studs are process coated for low friction and long wear. You will feel the difference in smooth travel and easy steering effort.

  1. This ball joint uses the Ford taper found on Mustang II/Pinto spindles. Common on IMCA Modifieds.
  2. This ball joint will NOT fit the stock taper in a 1963-71 GM truck spindle. To use this with GM-type spindles the upper taper must be reamed with reamer 910-89411.

Bolt-in (4-bolt) style and cross reference with MOOG #K5208.

Speedway Tapered Ball Joint Reamer, 7 Degree
                        

Tapered reamers for proper fitting of ball joints to spindles, tie rod ends to spindles, etc. These have 1/2" shank. The 1-1/2" per foot reamer, also known as a 7° tapered reamer, works with Speedway ball joints 917-20031 K6024, 917-20032 K6136, and 910-34323 K772.

Measures a little less than 1/2" at the small end and 1" at the big end.

This ball joint uses the Ford taper found on Mustang II/Pinto spindles. Common on IMCA Modifieds - very durable and economical replacement item. Will not fit stock GM upper A-frame.
