Ok,,here it is,,,I purchased a pair of these a year ago from a local,,,"big name",,home improvement store,,I paid $70.00 for them,in a nut shell,,they were junk,,,6 months ago,I purchased another pair from an auto part warehouse,,for $40.00,,they didn't do the job I wanted them for,,,and finally,I got smart and purchased this pair from you guys,,,for [$] bucks,,and they are above and beyond my expectations,,,they cut stainless braided hose like butter,,you don't even have to wrap tape around the hose before you cut.These cutters make running braided hose a snap.I used to spend all day making up hoses for the cars and trucks I work on. Takes 15 to do whatever I need to do,,and all of his for [$] bucks.I tried to get my money back,,from that home improvement place,,and they told me I did not use them for what they were intended,,,which is cutting heavy electric cable.Now,,if they were designed for that,,,why wouldn't the cut braided stainless hose,,long story short,,they wouldn't refund my money.Anyway,,,for [$] bucks,,this made one of the best automotive purchases I have made in the 30 years I have been building hot rods.[...],,and it reminds me,,,don't waste my time somehere else,,,I should have just come to Speedway to begin with.

I had to tighten the pivot each time I used it or it would not cut cleanly. This tool is fine if you are only going to make a few cuts. Each time I made a cut it would leave dents on the cutting surface of the tool. It needed to be made of better steel or heat treated. But for the price and the limited amount of cuts I needed to make this was exactly what I needed.
