These stainless steel braided power steering hose kits allow you to fit them to most 1965-1979 GM car & truck boxes with flare fittings.
We offer this Saginaw power steering pump with a new reservoir, billet cap, chrome hardware and new dipstick. Desirable early style 1965-79 pump with threaded and keyed shaft for easy pulley installation. Available in chrome. Hoses available from local parts stores.
Remanufactured GM 800 Seriespower steering boxes have a 16:1 ratio and were used in midsize GM cars from 1964-1988. Painted black and include -6 ANfittings to make it easier to fabricate hoses if needed. Pitman arm not included. No core return is required.
It is common to use an early GM power steering pump with a Mustang II power rack and pinion. Most who have tried it have found that the steering was twitchy or that it easily darts. This valve reduces the fluid flow from three gallons-per-minute to two gallons-per-minute, which cures the problem.For applications using the O-ring style power steering hoses. These stainless steel braided power steering hose kits will connect 1984-88 T-Bird and 1979-93 Mustang racks to most Ford or GM style internal reservoir power steering pumps. The hoses provide a custom look without the need to buy any additional parts. This kit is designed for drivers side pumps and may require hoses to be trimmed to length.
Includes tie rod ends and special fittings that accept AN hoses. Can be used with most GM steering pumps. Must use chassis headers and a stock type pan sump for clearance. Includes special steering arms and a pair of banjo fittings to adapt to AN6 fluid lines. Steering u-joint #910-32255 is required.

Our standard power steering hose assemblies are an inexpensive alternative to the more costly stainless steel braided hose kits. This set adapts a 1982-1988 T-Bird/Cougar rack or our 91034340-POW rack to a GM style pump. Return hose will normally need to be cut to length.
