What's in the Box

If you don't want to spend an arm and a leg on a rear disc brake kit and still have to weld the bracket on, we've got you covered. This complete kit includes two bolt-on caliper brackets, two 11-1/4" vented rotors, two GM metric style calipers, brake pads and hardware.

  • Rotors have both 5 on 4-1/2" and 5 on 4-3/4" bolt circles
  • Fits axle with a maximum flange diameter of 6-1/4" O.D.
  • 2.780" rotor center hole
  • Does not fit all 10 & 12 bolt axles. Check Application tab for details.

Application

This kit will fit 10 & 12 Bolt rear ends from:

  • Chevelles
  • Camaros
  • Novas

The housing flange must have:

  • 3-1/8" center-to-center distance for the top two bolt holes
  • 2-11/16" center-to-center distance for the bottom two bolt holes
  • 2-7/16" distance from the center of the top bolt to the center of the bottom bolt 

Note: This disc brake kit does NOT fit all 10 & 12 bolt rear axles. It does NOT fit full size car (Biscayne, Bel Air, Impala) or pickup rear axles.

                        Wilwood's D154 forged billet caliper is a direct bolt-on, lightweight, high-strength, extreme duty alternative to the OE cast iron calipers that were used on a wide range of factory disc brake equipped mid size GM cars and small trucks beginning in 1978. Use of this caliper can still be found on some GM models as late as the year 2002. The wide spread and affordable availability of D154 calipers and brake pad compounds also made it a popular choice in a number of restricted class competition categories and drum to disc conversions on all types of hot rods and street machines. There are three piston configurations available for the D154: A large 2.50" single piston, and two two-piston models featuring 1.62/1.62" or 1.12/1.12" pistons. All three calipers utilize stainless steel pistons. Stainless pistons are used to resist corrosion and retard heat transfer from the pads into the caliper body. High temperature, square faced bore seals are used to provide controlled piston retraction and reliable performance from the wider sealing face. This combination of components is a proven performer with long service life and a history of reliable performance in any type of driving environment, including extreme sustained high temperature racing applications. The caliper slide pin holes are fitted with dampening rings to minimize noise from vibration. DOT Braided Stainless Brake Hoses, GM/Ford, 7/16-20

This line kit would be used to connect from "hard" lines on the rear axle to rear disc calipers when changing from drum to disc brakes. DOT approved brake line kits include two stainless steel -3 AN brake lines with the banjo fitting installed, banjo bolts and washers, 3/8"-24 IFF frame adapter fittings and frame tabs with clips. Includes -3 AN fittings and adapters to connect them to 3/16" brake line using a 3/8"-24 IFM flare nut.

  • Stainless steel braid over Teflon® hose
  • Reduces volumetric expansion of brake lines

Hi-Temp 570's low viscosity allows easy bleeding of your brake system, eliminating aeration of the brake fluid caused by foaming due to excessive pumping of the pedal. 

This high temp brake fluid comes in a convenient 12 ounce container hermetically sealed to guarantee against unwanted absorption of moisture which can drastically lower the fluids boiling point (fluid from larger containers tends to become contaminated with moisture, lowering its boiling point and making it unsuitable for racing applications).
