Kit installs 11" diameter GM mid-size disc brakes on your machined 1949-54 Chevy car spindles, 1941-59 Chevy pickup spindles, or Speedway '49-'54 Chevy-style spindles. Stock spindles will require minor machine work. NOTE: This kit will not work with stock '49-'54 Chevy steering arms installed on stock '49-'54 Chevy car front ends. Kit is designed for street rod dropped tube front axles using 1949-54 Chevy-style spindles and flat plate steering arms. Kit will not work with "straight" tube axles as the caliper will contact the axle tube before sufficient turning radius is completed. 910-31953 Instructions (PDF)

This kit uses 9-1/4" Mustang II vented rotors with common GM metric calipers. - Typically used on Model T and Model A to 1936 Ford front ends
- For use on street rod tube front axles when using 1949-54 Chevy style spindles
- Will not work with stock 1949-54 steering arms
- Not to be installed on stock 1949-54 Chevy vehicle front ends

- Remanufactured Pinto/Mustang iron calipers, 7/16"-24 inlet
- 16" rubber brake lines
- Zinc plated dust caps
- All necessary brackets, adapters, bearings, seals, hardware and instructions included
Note: - Will not work with traditional style steering (no room for upper steering arm).
- Will not work with stock 1949-54 steering arms. Not to be installed on stock 1949-54 Chevy vehicle front ends.
