Q & A

What's in the Box

Flame cut steel upper steering arm for '37-'48 Ford spindles (with 3-3/8" mount centers). This design is available in 6-1/4" or 7-3/4" lengths. The longer 7-3/4" arms permit a tighter left turn when using large diameter front tires or front wheels with a deep reverse, and it also slows the steering rate for greater control. 5/8" end accepts spherical rod ends.

NOTE: Upper steering arms allow the attachment of a drag link to the LH (driver's side) spindle. The arms attach with bolts through the upper 2 backing-plate-mounting holes on spindle.

What I needed but quality is an issue

July 11, 2015
First one I ordered had stripped threads. It must have been used and returned before. Replacement was easy. Second one they sent had rusted threads. It's been soaking for 10 days now in PB blaster so I can get the rust off the threads and actually use it. Frustrated with the quality to say the least. Considering having one made at the local machine shop.
Pros:
  • Solid Right Length
Cons:
  • Rust
No, I would not recommend this product.
