Fenton™ cast iron headers fit most Ford chassis from 1937-53 with stock steering gear. Includes 5/16" steel collector flanges for exhaust pipe hook-up (for 2.00" O.D. pipe).

Gaskets sold separately.

Header Dimensions (GIF)

Application Note: These headers won't fit most Model T's or Model A's due to narrow the frame width, particularly on the passenger side. 1948-52 Ford F1 (1/2 ton) pick-ups will have interference with one bolt on the stock steering box. That bolt can usually be modified so that the headers can be used. The headers will not work in 3/4 ton or larger trucks from 1948-52. Most 1942-48 Mercury cars will require shimming of the motor mount for steering clearance.

Great Nostalgic Item

By Bradster from So. CA on 8/30/2010
Pros:
Good casting, Good fit on block, Look Great
Cons:
none
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

These headers are cool. Installed on at stock 47 Ford Coupe. Passender side fit great, drivers side rubbed on the steering box until I replaced the motor mounts. Now there is some room. Be sure to get header gaskets...

Q:

I have a 1950 mercury coupe with the stock engine and steering. Will these headers fit? I bought the center dump headers and found that the outlet is about five inches above the steering rods. These dump farther back and on an angle , but will they fit?

Q:

When I look at the picture of the passsenger side header it looks like the header extends out on a line perpendicular to the port about 6 to eight inches but your drawing says it extends out 7 3/4 inches 45 degrees up from the face of the port or level with the ground. Could you tell me which is correct level with the ground or 45 degrees down with respect to the ground? Second if you placed the passenger side with the ports flat on a table how high would the highest part be.
